Ruis. returns with its fourth digital release, introducing Brussels-based artist SKIMIR, a dedicated crate digger, soundsystem builder and bass music designer from the HNI Soundsystem crew.

With Grabuge EP (JSD004), SKIMIR channels his background in heavy sound system culture into a dark, underground club statement. The EP draws from the raw energy of early dubstep while pushing it into a more contemporary, layered direction — where heavyweight basslines, carefully placed drums and sample-rich textures collide.

Crafted for the physical experience of sound — a big stack of speakers, a smoke-filled room, a crowd moving in shadows — Grabuge is both a nod to tradition and a fresh vision of what bass music can do in today’s club landscape.

The Grabuge EP drops digitally on 24 October 2025 via Ruis.
