The land on which we live, work, and play was stolen from indigenous peoples, and sold by non-indigenous people for profit which has been disproportionately distributed for generations. So it is time to put an end to this and pay the rent that we owe. 
All proceeds will be heading to pay The Rent. A collective based on the lands of the Kulin nation here in Victoria, Australia. It is made up of both indigenous and non-indigenous peoples and is about honouring the sovereignty of Indigenous peoples by distributing rent to local Aboriginal groups at a grassroots level. Where it can be allocated by indigenous peoples, to indigenous peoples for anything from health services, education, arts and culture, housing, legal costs, and more. 
“Paying the Rent is a step towards acknowledging these facts. It is part of a process that all non-indigenous people - individually and collectively - need to enter into if we are to move towards justice, truth, equality and liberation for First Nations people.”

Reflecting a creative evolution of over a decade, honed through the fundamental parties, labels and record shops of the 2010s. The UK-raised, Barcelona based artist: EYRA, has cultivated a genre-fluid style that plugs sound system pressure into worldly rhythms, pulsating house and mutant dancehall. His catalog includes releases on Accidental Meetings, Related Articles and Pressure Dome, as well as being the co-founder of the event series POLYGLOT and member of musical collective ABUNDANCE.

Esoteric and sub-heavy bangers is the name of the game with EYRA’s latest offering on New Zealand label Related Articles, serving up two infectious and steppy groovers 'Peso Neto' & 'Weit'. These slick club productions make optimum use of space and dynamics, exploring moments of tension and release with immense bass pressure. Sprawling and textural sound design swirls around these deeply-rooted rhythms that take influence from dancehall, grime, footwork and dembow.

Peso Noto - a versatile and rhythmic club weapon that sways seamlessly in between footwork and dancehall patterns, a perfect track for jumping between genres and tempos whilst keeping the energy high and the crowd locked in.

Weit delivers a sprawling and chuggy dancehall mutation with hints of grime influence dropped in for good measure. Laidback, swaggering grooves make ample space for the fidgeting percussion to dance on top, while a gliding grime lead seeps through the cracks.

The record is pressed on 180 grams of ICCS-certified bio-vinyl, housed in a heavy full-colour sleeve, and comes with a download-code to the full release and five digital-only tracks. Less cold, edgy and uncanny than the original, Lemon Schaden deploys a restrained yet not less viscerally intense, gripping rework of Lord Jalapeños' distinctive clattering and high-strung dark specimen of Industrial-strewn Techno and Electro sonics.

Take a step back from your emotions. Putting them down on paper. Exuding its darkness. L'Ombre De Toi Même was conceived as a travelogue, a journey into the darkness Lord Jalapeños has crossed. Already signed to labels such as Science Culte and Diffuse Reality, this time the producer offers twelve fragments of his soul on Ethos Records, accompanied by three remixes by Lostsoundbytes, Boris Barksdale and Lemon Schaden.

This opus sounds like the soundtrack to a trashy thriller, where the emptiness is crushing, the outbursts threatening, and the cries of instinct chilling. Where ambient meets metal, where meaninglessness meets punk rage, it's crunchy, suffocating, deep black bass superimposed on distorted, imploring synths. Sleep paralysis encoded in electronic poetry.

Housed in a carefully designed packaging with exclusive artwork that evokes organic and mineral textures, “Fossilized” explores the darkest and most minimalist landscapes of experimental techno. Each track is a sonic fragment that invites the listener into a multi-sensory experience, where styles and rhythms fluctuate like a roller coaster that descends and ascends through the deepest spectrum of the genre.

The album stands out for its ability to fuse dense atmospheres with precise rhythmic structures, playing with captivating drones, hypnotic percussive patterns and modulations that reflect a constantly evolving sonic ecosystem, with unexpected moments that break expectations and take the listener to unknown territories. Where the pieces reach their climax in a game of raw percussion and abrasive synthesizers, while also taking us on journeys where he abandons the drums for ethereal textures and fractured pulses that seem to dissolve into thin air.

The story behind “Fossilized” dates back to the last few years, when Darkduction embarked on a deep creative introspection influenced by his interest in the layers of time and memory, translating this fascination into music. Each track was conceived as a unique layer, meticulously constructed with layers of textures and sonic structures. This album is the result of years of refinement, where the initial ideas crystallized into a work that challenges the boundaries of modern techno.
