It was about time they laid all their cards on the table; no more secrets, no more excuses and definitely no more sneaking around. How they'd not been found out yet was something of a miracle - there were many times the game had nearly been up, but somehow the truth had never come out. If they'd been honest from the outset, things could have been different, but sometimes putting your feelings out there, naked and bare, was more frightening than the repercussions. 

There's certain DJs that you can trust will curate a top drawer record label. With Bristol mainstay Danielle and her freshly minted Soft Raw imprint, we're definitely in safe hands. An extension of her own tastes as a DJ, the label will explore the contrast between soft and raw textures, casting a net far and wide to catch everything from abstract rhythms to technoid experiments and weighty sub-heavy sonics, whilst seeking to platform new producers who are carving out a singular sound. The first comes from Sam Black, better known as Slacker, who sets the tone in fine style with a collection of moody, rumbling cuts that lean heavily into jungle and half-time DnB.

Konduku's appearance on Amenthia feels like something that happened a long time ago, but with 'Slowworm,' he officially makes his label debut, delivering three solo works that solidify his close relationship with the pioneering Basel crew.

'Slowworm' includes three mesmerizing, slow-paced, tension-building mind trips that are a perfect fit for Amenthia. It's an excellent showcase of impeccable rhythms, morphing from sludgy slow beats to introverted intensity--a style for which both Konduku and Amenthia are celebrated.

Konduku's tracks have been a staple in the Amenthia crew's setlists for years. In addition to creating the 2022 release 'Glimmer' by Konsudd, a project with Aa Sudd; and contributing a track on the latest Amenthia x A Walking Contradiction collaboration EP; the partnership has generated a close friendship along the way.

INF0PUSHER - ORDO DATA EP [SYH013]

“Ordo Data EP” is the name of our first release of this new year. We welcome to our label the mysterious and sick Brazilian artist Inf0pusher. Based in Braga, this producer brings us four pieces that make up a work that transported us from the first moment to places of another dimension still unknown to our ears. His sound development is a mixture of the primitive or tribal with a futuristic and dystopian vision of the technological era that coexists perfectly with atmospheres of mystery and experimentation. This EP starts with “Iniciação”, an introductory melody worthy of a movie soundtrack and ends with a powerful track called “Vampirismo Virtual” that with heartbreaking drum beats and intelligent melodies and percussions leaves a bestial taste in our ears. Turn up the volume and enjoy this work!!!

Jedes Kollektivmitglied hat für die Compilation ein*e Freund:*in eingeladen – und eine Regel aufgestellt: 3 Minuten Tonband (und keine Sekunde mehr) hast du Zeit, in denen du machen kannst, was immer du machen willst, nimm es auf, schick es uns und wir editieren alles hin zu einem Tape. Und jetzt, da alles fertig ist mit allen offenen Enden, mit allen Song- und Track- und Experiment-Fragmenten: hörst du 50 Minuten Musik full of flackernder beauty, full of harrowing noises (ja, vor allem emotional), full of Nähe in unrosigen Zeiten. Die Namen der Urheber*innen stehen auf der Tracklist, aber du kannst es auch einfacher machen: die CRTTR-Artists und -Friends sind alle Superstars von hier, von dort, von weiteren Umkreisen. Nearly three years after its inception, Padua-based imprint Wetware Echo returns with 'Ghostform', the latest transmission from co-founder and local alchemist Coeden...Our pick from the album, ‘Slow Ray’, creeps into existence with noise-cloaked kick-drums submerged in a maze of cavernous textures. As the tension builds, Coeden summons EBM’s machine-funk heritage, twisting its rhythmic DNA into something raw. The track’s 117 BPM mechanical chug unfurls like a slow-motion dance of some post-human ritual, laser-lit signals flickering in the periphery. Equal parts hypnotic and unhinged, it’s a procession of synthetic spirits marching through the ruins of a past that never was.
