Our first release of 2024 sees a new addition to the label in the form of Payta and her Bricolage debut, "Samsara".

Payta is a multi-disciplinary creative, based in the UK. Adept in both the audio and visual side of the arts and performing live at events across the UK, 

Payta's new album sees her take that warm analogue feel from her live sets and channel it into a stunning release full of slowly evolving hypnotic soundscapes.

Side A of the cassette is a collection of fleeting, electronica and IDM influenced sketches. Ephemeral bursts of melody and cascading rhythms combining to create a colourful and vivid mosaic of sounds.

Side B consists of two longer tracks that allow time for a sense of depth but keep that hazy kaleidoscopic feel while allowing for a more textural flow and blossoming ambient palettes to emerge.

Finnish Recue debuts on Analogical Force with 'Paramnesia EP', where Riku Annala explores the murkier side of electronic soundscapes with distorted and gritty undertones. With impeccable production, Recue guides us through this expedition in his highly distinctive style that blurs boundaries between bass music, idm and reflective electro-nix. 'Paramnesia EP' takes you on a cinematic journey through post apocalyptic soundscapes full of deep bass, textures and nuances. 
Some of Paramnesia's tracks have accompanied Recue in his live sets, acting as a counterbalance for the most nolanesque moments, when the music starts driving the listener forward in full speed. Some have started as reworks of other material, gradually morphing into something completely different, leaving only a memory of something that never came to be. The release is the result of a dialogue and curation together with AF, and the end result is something that sits comfortably in the sound that is Recue and undertone that's Analogical Force.

"The fledgling Detach label continues to show it means business with a new 12" in a lovely screen-printed sleeve. Romanian artist Dyl is the one in charge and has been serving up consistently excellent and innovative sounds now for serval years. All of these cuts mix up great sound design with languid rhythms - the first is eerie, with watery droplets and glassy tinkles hanging in the air, while 'Glasshouse 2' has a percolating rhythm down low. 'Glasshouse 3' gets a little more dynamic with a shimmering low end and freaky abstract life forms and 'Glasshouse 4' layers in more intense and ever-shifting synth lines while the closer sounds like it's roaming through a deserted factory long after it shut down".

Dasha Mazur is a DJ, sound designer and digital nomad, currently based in Armenia. Hailing from Ukraine, Dasha grew up in the northwestern part of Russia, in the port city of St. Petersburg, which is also a hub for the country's electronic music scene.

Influenced by the development of the underground culture in her city from an early age, she began her journey as an artist in 2012. Raised on a steady diet of drum & bass, breakbeat, and the burgeoning techno scene, she managed to incorporate a wide range of these influences into her recent works. Her sets are characterized by a combination of atmospheric soundscapes and immersive textures, infused with the intense energy of broken industrial beats."

"Left Hand Drive" is the debut release from Wilks.

Drawing on influences from all around the electronic sphere, this Cheltenham based producer has delivered an outstanding EP that melds together elements of drum n bass, IDM, garage, ambient and electronica to create a sonic experience that buries itself somewhere between blurry memories and the present moment.

The meticulous production process of Wilks is evident throughout. Carefully designed rhythmic elements intertwining alongside gleaming melodies and glistening pads with ease. There's a cinematic and sentimental edge within each track and all six on offer here get a turn in expressing their own unique character, emotion and identity.

"Left Hand Drive", as a whole, lays down a marker for this new artist. Wilks is already carving a sound of his own and we're delighted to be able to introduce him to the world.
