Retrogression

This is just an old , unreleased song, that I wrote directly after "Prospect Of Doom" back in 2009/2010  I thought, it would be a pity and a waste of creativity to keep this one on a harddrive, until it´s lost and forgotten.....so here it is. I tried my best to give it a not so crappy sound, but the material was not the best. Well,I hope you like it anyway.

Shapes In The Night Sky

Seeming Emptiness is an instrumental solo project of me, Kevin Möckel from Saxony, Germany. I think that "doom-touched post-rock" is the easiest way to define the style. Seeming Emptiness combines the crushing guitars and dark melodies of doom metal with the dreamy, gently soundscapes of post-rock. The mood of the music is mostly very melancholic and emotional and the songs tell instrumental stories. Massive guitars, atmospheric synths and lead guitars in two voices are significant for the music.
