Matt Black - Ghost in the machine (Segment 050)

After a brief hiatus Segment records return with their 50th release and what a monster it is, for this we welcome back Segment records founder Matt Black with Ghost in the machine, his first single release on the label since 2006. Ghost in the machine sees Matt doing what he does best, making uplifting house music with strong melodies and a driving bass-line, after releasing tracks and remixes for various labels Matt has come up with possibly his best tune to date, absolute dance floor dynamite.
As well as Matts original we bring you two other remixes to make the package even better, first up we present Nick Le Bon Aka Man0uvers Music. 
Nicks mix takes the tune into a whole new direction, cutting up the main elements of the original and creating a techy summer monster which is perfect for those sunset terrace parties, but we have saved the best till last and are pleased to have on board Lynx records Steve McGrath for the final remix.
Steve’s remix goes for the jugular with a deep driving mix with uplifting pads and a beautiful melancholic feel, we believe that this will be the mix for those cooler dance floors and having people like Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo as regular fans of his work we expect the same level of support for this one.
Matt Black founded Segment records back in 2003 and this release will see the end of an era, Matt is handing over the reins to Nick Le Bon and so this release also sees a changing of the guard, out with the old, in with the new we have exciting things lined up at Segment and this release is just the beginning
