Rose Ringed is back with the three tracker ‘Synonyms for Love’, out on his Closed Eyes Recordings imprint on July 9th. The Amsterdam native musician/DJ/producer is as famed for his upbeat energy and genre-shifting style, as for his swift and sudden arrival on the international scene supported by industry figures and streaming stats alike.

Dreaming Away mingles soulful vocals, plangent piano and string chords, with skippy heartbeat bongos, upping the speed midway for a bracing ride.
‘Everyone recognizes that love can knock over your entire life in a split second. The song taps into the uncertainty, the euphoria and the hope.’ 

Lullabies Of Love lets twinkling arpeggios of fairy-light notes dance over a foot-tapper bounding beat, laced with joyful synth notes like silver trumpets. 
‘Love is never perfect. To emphasize that, I created an upbeat, cheerful track with a one-take jamming solo in the middle!’

Together With You intrigues, alternating poppy sections with choir-like synthesised vocals with more wistful melodic piano and synth phrases. 
‘Carefree moments of joy imprinting the sweetest memories of long summer nights with your loved ones.’

Last year, with his 'Balearic Beauty' album, Roger Shah shaped a summer all of his own. Its first single - the Alexandra Badoi-sung 'I'll Be Fine' - captivated fans of old, won fans of new and gave Roger another huge club hit. Now, with a new summer fast approaching, May 19th sees 'I'll Be Fine's primetime follow-up. 

'Surrender' has proved a forum favourite, a hot request at Roger's live shows and one of the foremost jewels in the fourth Sunlounger LP's sound crown. Featuring the vocals of West Virginian-raised/LA-based singer/songwriter Chase, 'Surrender' arrives in single form with a complete remix spectrum. Sound-crafters including Walden, Pierre Pienaar, Brian Laruso, Raul Pablo Sanchez and Roger himself (under his Areeena alias) have taken 'Surrender' to spaces far and wide. 

With its folk-ish tones, lyrically and vocally Chase channels everything from indie to baroque pop into 'Surrender'. In its Original Mix form, Roger takes all those well known Sunlounger instruments and elements - gently thrummed guitars, timpani drums, analogue synths and wistfully plucked string sections - to deliver the track's reclined cool. On his Touching Your Soul rework, Brian Laruso adds shuffling and live-sounding cabasa and marimba percussion loops, giving the track beachfront ambiance. 
Roger's Chillout Mix drops the drums out entirely, resting it entirely on its guitars, pianos and Chase's acoustics for that sundown moment. On his mix, Raul Pablo Sanchez intensifies the LFO, echoes & dubs up the FX and uses longer held notes and housier rhythms to usher 'Surrender' into the night. 

Through remix treatments from Pierre Pienaar, Areeena, and Walden, 'Surrender' gets ready to leave the beach and take it club-side. Fuelling trance-inclined floors to scarcely safe limits, through his remix and instrumental treatments Namibia's Pierre Pienaar springboards the track into peak-time. Areeena (whose 'Between 2 Worlds' debut shook more than its share of speaker-stacks last autumn) toughens the trance stance further with its synth-stridence and rolling bass. Last and by no means least, Australia's Walden reimagines 'Surrender' as an immense progressive house workout. Replete with irresistibly cheerful synths, it'll be keeping floors on their toes throughout summer.

Delivering its latest installment of its revered Fragments series, Purified Records delivers Fragments XXII. Opening the compilation with Georgian producer Whiteout’s enchanting track ‘Echoes’, this cut ebbs and flows with intricate percussion and gentle melodies. Flowing into Danish artist Kiholm’s ‘Fighting for Something’ Ft. Ivy Marie, this creation achieves sonic bliss with soothing vocals across a delicate melodic house arrangement. Completing the series, Australian talent Juno Stone delivers ‘Alpine Ascent’. Rising into a lofty dimension, this carefully crafted piece reflects its title, reaching great heights with touching piano melodies and gradual synth work. 

The Fragments XXII displays an incredible shot of a Netrostoma jellyfish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. The Netrostoma jellyfish, also known as the crown jellyfish, is easily recognizable by its dome-shaped bell and delicate, trailing tentacles. They have a unique, crown-like structure on top of its bell, giving it a regal appearance. Additionally, some species of Netrostoma are bioluminescent, creating a mesmerizing light show underwater. Although not currently assessed for a specific conservation status by the IUCN, jellyfish populations face threats from climate change, pollution, and overfishing, which disrupt their natural habitats. Protecting marine environments is essential to maintaining the balance of ecosystems that support species like the Netrostoma jellyfish. 

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

A showcase of fresh talent from the global electronic scene, Anjunadeep’s Explorations series returns for its sixteenth instalment, featuring six Anjunadeep debutants in Falden, Promnite, My Friend, TRU Concept, David Orin and Lauren Mia.

Kicking off the compilation is Dutch producer Falden with ‘So Far Away’. Featuring airy vocals from Diana Miro, Falden demonstrates why he’s been supported by BBC Radio 1 and KCRW. In a marked contast, LA-based producer Promnite delivers the synth-led track ‘India’. After hurtling onto the scene in 2014, Promnite has worked alongside Mr. Carmack, Djemba Djemba and Penthouse Penthouse.
Next up, British duo My Friend mark their Anjunadeep debut with ‘To The Moon’, leading with a catchy vocal hook and breakbeat drums. TRU Concept brings his melodic track ‘Runaway’ to the EP. Leading with the vocals of Romany, TRU Concept showcases why he’s been supported by Diplo and MistaJam on BBCR1.

Characterised by fluttering arpeggios and metallic synths, David Orin delivers his euphoric track ‘Arctic’, demonstrating why he’s been supported by the likes of Joris Voorn, Lee Burridge and Hernan Cattaneo. Closing the EP is Los Angles based DJ and producer Lauren Mia with her track ‘Lolo Graziano’, featuring an emotive piano melody and atmospheric pads.
