Marimbo, Yassah, Sambula, Bakgat - these are not exotic places, but musical outpourings of the man who conquered the hearts of all Afro-House lovers in recent months. Percussions here, drums there, always driving and with heart! This talent was not hidden from Oliver Koletzki and brought him to his label "Stil vor Talent" for three EPs.

DANIEL RATEUKE is a german disc jockey, record producer & remixer and has been involved in the music scene since the tender age of fourteen. Groovy Afro House and Melodic Techno sounds are his trademark, and this love is also reflected in his productions which appear on labels such as "Stil vor Talent", "Monaberry" and the number 1 Afro-House label "MoBlack Records". His tracks repeatedly reaches top positions on Beatport & Traxsource and are played by well-known names of the scene like Black Coffee, Hyenah, Oliver Koletzki and many more.

PREMIERE : Aston Alba - Euphrates (Original Mix) [Chrom Recordings]

Our Chrom Recordings EP nr 40 is from Sam Albasini aka Aston Alba, a producer & DJ from Switzerland. In 2018 he released his first singles and EP's on Trippy Code and Inlab. Pretty soon his style of music evolved from melancholic & hypnotic techno into a mix of mystic atmospheres and Middle Eastern sounds resulting in releases on Grrreat & Aftertech. And in this style he presents us now his 2-track EP on Chrom Recordings:“Tigris & Euphrates”. To round things off, we also added  some very powerful remixes.

For “Euphrates” we asked an artist we already wanted to add to our roster for some time: Aaron Suiss, from Washington DC, but now currently residing in Thailand. Aaron Suiss describes his style of music as Progressive Melodic House/Techno. Aaron is currently working as the A&R & Label Manager of Outta Limits Recordings, one of the leading Progressive House labels around and the imprint of Stan Kolev & Matan Caspi. Next to his output on Outta Limits he also has released on Revolt, Harabe & O'Tawa. For this remix Aaron teams up with Q.U.A.K.E aka Netanel Asraf from Israel.

The second remix of “Euphrates” is made by Riccardo LeBron aka Anakim (pronounce as ana-keem), a Los Angeles-based DJ/producer who describes his music as "Intergalactic Underground Sounds”. He perfected his sound at the esteemed Icon Collective Music Production School resulting in a dark and mysterious sonic style that is both melodically rich and delightfully sinister. Releases on top labels such as EIN2, ICONYC, mau5trap, Desert Hearts Black, Krafted Underground, Dear Deer,... and nominated by DJ Mag as  “Artist To Watch” in 2019 and by Billboard Dance as “Emerging Artist You Should Know” this year, says it all.

And last but not least the EP is completed with a remix of “Tigris” by Sarcasmo. Sarcasmo is a new project, a new idea, from the Spanish producer/DJ Alvaro Fuentes, established in London, sharing his more than 10 years of experience and in which after researching about different styles brings his darkest side: techno, deep and minimal influences fused with dark vibes is what you can find in most of his energetic productions, resuling in releases on labels such as Steyoyoke, Us & Them, KDB, Wood, Cinematique, Qilla,...

Dave Seaman's Radio Therapy Broadcast - June 2020

This is the second installment around dubspeeka’s ambient album ‘Valley of The Kings’ to be released on March 19th. dubspeeka has released on the label several times over the last years, and we’re really excited to present his first LP on LNOE. The second single off the record titled Khepri is out on the 5th March alongside a remix by label boss Sasha.

‘Khepri’ reveals more about dubspeeka’s upcoming album, showing more of a deeper side to the record. The track gives a strong sense of space and the vocal cuts through like an angel in a big cavern. It’s a perfect little peak on the contrasts being displayed in the sonic character of the full record.

Sasha’s rework calibrates the track through a different realm by injecting a dance floor approach. The rework shows off the main qualities of the original perfectly while creating a totally different space of mind. Combining these qualities, the outcome very energetic and yet delicate in its melodical approach. This one is sure to raise some hands when the clubs open up!
