Just ahead of Selador Recordings debut at the legendary Watergate Club in Berlin, we deliver an EP from one of the DJs who appears on the bill that night, the burgeoning talent that is Justin Massei. 

Justin has already appeared twice on the label with contributions on both of our Showcase Compilations but now here he is in all his fully fledged glory with an EP that truly puts his flag in the sand. 

Originally hailing from the US but now residing in Berlin with his other half, fellow Watergater, La Fleur, Mr Massei makes a strong statement of intent with a couple of raw tech house missives built specifically for those hallowed Berlin dance floors.

The lead track is an intense affair, all brooding beats and fervent swagger. Deep, dark and dirty. As is the other original production on offer, ‘The Creator’. Again, it’s all about the bottom end. Pure, undiluted dark energy. 

Remixes this time around come from label boss Dave Seaman who turns in a large slab of peak time Techno. The driving bass and rattling percussion power this interpretation, punctuated by some wonky arp work that surges and cascades through the breakdowns. Big room business. 

And completing the package, a producer who has lit up 2015 so far with an impressive glut of releases for the likes of Noir, Suara, Material and Go Deeva… Third Son. The Welsh wizard retains all the original’s authentic passion but adds a pulsating baseline to proceedings to provide a fuller production. Formidable stuff.

Following the great success of 'ANGEL' we are now ready with the next Noir single on Noir Music. 

'MY FAULT' features the emotional, soul drenched vocals and lyrics of Berlin based singer HRRSN, that heart wrenchingly reflect the deep regrets and inner conflicts of a failed relationship. The emotive vocals are fused with penetrating synths and heavy beats to create the perfect contrast against the vulnerability that's inherent in his words.

"This is probably my most clubby but also my rawest, emotional track to date. It's crafted and arranged with my experience from playing from small clubs to big festivals and tested accordingly, so I was 100% sure it worked perfectly" says Noir.

'MY FAULT' is a sneak peak into the forthcoming debut album that's set for a release in the spring of 2015. Perfectly setting up an album that will explore the darker edges of electronic music, 'MY FAULT' entices the listener for what's to come, for the album will be a distillation of Noir's career that has spanned over 10 years. The Spaniard Piek is synonym of organic music and a unique sound, his last ep Lost Treasures on the label was released now one year ago. For a while he was focused producing music for advertising and media until he felt the call to come back with fresh and amazing new music.
