Up next on Brooklyn’s Scissor & Thread is the latest EP from @Snad, aka Shyam Anand (also known as Spandrel), the Berlin-based artist whose discography already spans labels like Smallville, Minibar, 20:20 Vision, Phonica AM, TerraFirm, Running Back, Cabinet, Kimochi and Dungeon Meat with remixes for names including Seafoam and Chez Damier. 

A trusted selector and producer in the underground, Snad has steadily built a reputation for deeply considered productions that balance classic inspiration with his own forward-thinking edge.

The AM Yard EP opens with its title track, a warm, hazy cut rooted in the kind of bassline architecture that recalls Chez n Trent’s Morning Factory but reshaped with Snad’s signature dreamlike touch. 

Anticip8 fanchors the release with a more direct energy, rolling, insistent and focused on the floor, balancing stripped-down drive of dusty samples wrung through his digitakt with just enough harmonic flourish to pull the listener inward. 

On the flip, The Pursuit follows in a slightly different mode, drawing on experimental vocoder techniques and filtered percussion creating a hypnotic push-and-pull that feels as intricate as it is understated.

Rounding things out, label heads Francis Harris and Anthony Collins, under their Frank & Tony alias, reimagine The Pursuit with their Housebeat Remix, extending its atmospherics into an even deeper headspace that glides effortlessly into late-night territory.

Cards on the table, Murat Uncuoglu has been an honorary Seladorian for longer than any of us probably care to admit.

A leading light on the Turkish Electronic Music scene for almost 3 decades, the Istanbul based Producer has recently been strengthening his reputation around the World with a string of releases on such esteemed labels as Innervisions, Exit Strategy, Multinotes and his own blossoming Isolate imprint which he helms alongside his longtime partner and friend, Alican.

Now he adds Selador to his already impressive CV courtesy of the triumphant Eye To Eye EP - Three original productions of equal merit and potency that all shine brightly on their own meteoric pathways.

The title track arrives into the ring brimming with swagger, delivering a first-round flurry of punches few will recover from but in the unlikely event youre not immediately on the floor, Compass then lands another lethal combination - a proper pair of mind melters that will bring tears to your eyes and a wobble to your jaw. And whilst we have you on the ropes before you can catch your breath, Couscous moves in for the kill. Just take it on the chin, its time to throw the towel in.

We're welcoming Sasheen on board with the vocoder fueled 'Colors'. A proper tune for the summer time with its dreamy and airy melodies.

'Origin' is a bit more straight forward and in your face, though still flowing properly with it's immaculate soundscapes and melodies. Timeless classy tune!

Originario de Buenos Aires, que se inició como pianista y guitarrista, LOM se abrió camino a través de los géneros musicales en su juventud antes de descubrir su fascinación por los ritmos electrónicos. Se hizo un nombre durante el renacimiento de la escena del house progresivo con bastante rapidez, pero eso fue realmente solo el comienzo. Después de su debut en la compilación más vendida de PlattanBank, Secrets #6, este es su primer lanzamiento en solitario en el sello de clase mundial de Guy Mantzur.

El argentino ha acuñado sus rutinas estilísticas como el progressive house, pero en varias intersecciones genera ritmos y melodías impulsoras que pueden evocar recuerdos de la electrónica temprana, junto con secuencias psicodélicas y dramáticas que se elevan por encima de las fronteras del género. Como para demostrar que es capaz de impartir más que euforia y energía, 'When I Met You' es seguido por el elegante pero poderoso 'Infinite Love' en el que LOM agrega una nota más expresiva, revelando las profundidades de su mente visionaria.
