On the 5th of November, 2021 we've celebrated the 8th anniversary of radiOzora the way we do it best, with a special birthday marathon. This is the DJ set of SELDON from Budapest In The Dark.

Since the beginning we try to keep us connected globally, spreading our scene’s expanding and diverse soundscapes, and it keeps us motivated when the going gets tough and we don’t get a chance to be together, like in the recent years. These past eight years have been anything but boring, as we grow together with the radio and its listeners, contributors and shows. We are so grateful to everyone for taking part and making this dream come true together, and making this frequency alive with the sounds of our visions and spirit. So this Friday from 13:00 CET join us on air for a celebratory and wide-range musical journey featuring resident radiOzora DJs, longtime returning friends and special debuting guests.
While in the first half of the show you can enjoy mostly low and mid tempo sets, starting from organic house, through psychedelic indie dance and retro-feel trancey techno, the 2nd half offers different styles of psychedelic music, such as psy-techno, zenonesque, groovy night psy and full on.

It was a privilege to play at MoDem festival 2017. The Croatian landscape and the great people created a magical atmosphere. The first half of the set was a personal challenge to play sounds I rarely play - ambient, broken beats and slower, head banger soulfood sounds sometimes on 3-4 channels.
In the 2nd part I went towards a bit more usual territory and I played some chill techno.

Seldon was born in 1978 in Budapest, Hungary. As he was surrounded by music from the early age it's determined his addiction to sound. He met the real techno sound in the mid 90s at the roots of the Hungarian underground. Seldon, the founder and resident DJ of the Budapest in the dark project, is DJing for more than 20 years by now. His complex sounds are built from techno and minimal spiced up with psychedelia. He is an active and forward thinkg member of the European minimal music community and he is also building strong links with Latin-America and Mexico. Seldon's sounds are connecting the psy scene with the techno/minimal scene - he played at Psy-fi festival in Holland, MoDem at Croatia and he is booked for Ozora 2018. He is getting increasing international visibility as beside of Hungary he already played in the UK, Germany, Belgium and he is regular at Prague. His performances are unique, hypnotic and trippy. He makes the listener move with closed eyes... makes both the mind and the body move, a journey inward.

Seldon's sounds are connecting the psy scene with the techno/minimal scene - he played at Psy-fi festival in Holland, MoDem at Croatia , Ozora and Daad as well. He gained international visibility as beside of Hungary he already played in the UK, Germany, Belgium and he is regular at Prague's Cross club. His performances are unique, hypnotic and trippy. He makes the listener move with closed eyes... makes both the mind and the body move - a journey inward.
