The artist’s name „Selecta Doc“ is a true statement to the jamaican Reggae and Dancehall culture, so it´s hardly surprising that he is musically rooted in this caribbean bass music genre. In 2005 Selecta Doc started DJing with two friends and founded a little Soundsystem in his hometown. Over the time he widely enlarged his musical range and began to start solo projects. Since then his Dancehallselections are spiced with HipHop, Soca, Trap and other international genres like Cumbia or Kuduro. By and by he discovered Moombahton and genre related producers like Dave Nada, Diplo, ETC! ETC!, Munchi and many others. Feeling very inspired by this new and fresh sounds, he began to produce his own tracks and remixes in 2010. Since he moved to Dresden in 2012, he is involved in a project called „Global Bangerz - Rum&Bass Posse“, a four-man-DJ team playing bassmusic from all around the world. Nowadays his creative sets are characterized by genre-breaking tunes, own remixes and productions and the newest Global Bass and club trends.
