J-Evens started Surge in early 2020 and lived up to it’s name. As “a sudden powerful movement” entails Surge struck the minimal house scene with top releases at lighting speed, gaining respect and following along the way. Liverpool based friend and experienced producer Canty joined the movement later during the year and now the two label heads are working hard to make 2021 another huge year for Surge. The mutual respect between our labels for each other’s work has laid the foundation for a strong relationship and to kick this off J-Evans and Canty have made a high energy mix for our podcast series.
