Responsible for some of the industry’s biggest records, German producer Cornelius Kuron has spent years working behind the scenes of dance music. One of our all-time favourite artists, British producer Nu Aspect, has enjoyed huge success since his debut on Selected back in 2017.  On his latest release ”Over the Edge” Nu Aspect joins forces with one of Britain’s most requested vocalists and previous collaborator Poppy Baskcomb. Enjoying early support from household names including Disclosure, Benny Benassi, Chris Lake and Ferry Corsten, Italian musician and record producer Astrality has been fast-tracked to international acclaim since his inaugural release in 2020. Joining the Selected. family in 2021 with his collaborative single ‘Alone Together’ with Georgia Blackwell, Astrality has since gone to become a firm favourite for the imprint, releasing a string of hits including 'Times Are Changing', 'Fade to Black' and 'Heartbeat Slow'.

Hot on the heels of his January-released hit ‘Goosebumps’, Astrality now returns to Selected. with his latest single ‘Inside Out’. Emerging in 2017 with his debut release ‘Fake' on bitbird, Russian producer Badflite has been making considerable waves on the electronic music scene over the past few years. Releasing his debut album ‘Places' on Martin Garrix’s fabled STMPD imprint in 2022, the hotly-tipped talent has been going from strength to strength ever since, spreading his unique brand of electronic music to a growing legion of fans worldwide. 

Making an impressive label debut on Selected. with ‘Where The Sun Goes Down’ together with RYVM back in February — a record which has since gone on to amass over 10 million streams and counting — Badflite now makes his eagerly anticipated return to our imprint with his mesmerising new follow up ‘Cherish’. Another soulful slice of whimsical, vocal-led house music from a producer at the very top of his game, this one has been well worth the wait.

Regularly championed by tastemakers at BBC Radio 1, it’s easy to see why with this latest single, as Cammie lays down another delectable vocal record that shimmers from the off. With her sultry vocals backed up by trancey synths a deep, emotive instrumental that’s perfectly framed for the dancefloor, ’Survivors’ sees Cammie firing on all cylinders as she drops one of our favourite tracks of the year so far.

"Through the Night” is about those restless nights when memories of someone or something just won’t let you go. 

I wanted the track to have moments of euphoric highs with a slightly unstable feel reflecting that push and push and pull between longing for the past and moving forward.

The lyrics “I can’t seem to sleep through the night, I try to forget you but it doesn’t feel right ” are about realizing that sometimes, holding on is what’s keeping you from healing.
