A bona fide hit-making machine, Bristol-based producer Sam Higgins — or Nu Aspect as he’s more commonly known in electronic music circles — is a man on a mission. Boasting a staggering 60+ million career streams following a string of original singles and official remixes for the likes of Elderbrook, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Steve Void to name a few, one of our all-time favourite producers now returns to Selected. with his latest anthem, Miss You.

An exquisite, three-minute house cut made for those euphoric dancefloor moments, Miss You sees Higgins team up with Italian producer Jamis (Let It Bleed, Boom Boom and Ways To Heaven) and hotly-tipped British singer-songwriter Poppy Baskcomb (Temptation, This Love and Falling Down) for the trio’s eagerly-anticipated inaugural collaboration. 

Emotive vocals, smooth basslines and and sweeping pads provide backbone of the record as the three artists digs deep to deliver an understated weapon of impressive proportions.

This reimagining, previously made as an exclusive for The Shapeshifters' DJ sets, celebrates all that made the original so iconic; brassy vocals and a disco sensibility challenged the status quo while remaining universally appealing. Now Glitterbox have acquired the rights, this version updates the classic with the club in mind, while remaining an anthem of love, acceptance, and equality.

The brainchild of former Polarkreis 18 vocalist Felix Räuber and producer / songwriter Julian Altrock, recently formed two-man outfit Innerverse is shaping up to be the next force to be reckoned with on the electronic music circuit. Having previously produced numerous musical
scores for hit TV series' including “How To Get Away with Murder” and “Grey’s Anatomy”, the two talented artists now turn their collective attention firmly to the dance floor, as they team up with globally-adored Dutch producer Helsloot (Because You Move Me, Tell Me and Never Leave,) to reimagine one of the most recognisable records from Polarkreis 18’s long - standing discography, Allein Allein.

Following the official release of the original record in 2009, Allein Allein achieved the coveted #1 in Germany, reached numerous Top 10 positions in various European territories and went to position at 12 in the US Billboard single charts, with a huge subsequent hit remix from
Swedish dance music icon Pryda. Now, almost fifteen years later, Innerverse and Helsloot deliver their own euphoric house interpretation, calling on sublime Hamburg-based vocalist Malou to flip the original on its head in the best way imaginable.
