With a vast discography dating back to 2008, British DJ and Grammy-nominated music producer Nathan C is, without doubt, one of the most prolific artists to emerge onto the UK house scene over the past decade. Boasting a wealth of critically acclaimed releases on reputed labels such as Future Classic, Cr2, Spinnin’, Perfect Havoc and Toolroom (to name but a few) and having remixed and produced for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Bastille, Flume, Meduza, Lilly Allen, Example and DJ Fresh amongst others, Nathan has a truly diverse musical repertoire and the production credentials to rival the best in the business. With his steady stream of first-rate productions championed by many of the world’s biggest DJs — from Laidback Luke, Roger Sanchez and Axwell, through to Pete Tong, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo —the London-based talent now looks to continue his prolific run of studio output with the announcement of his latest new solo single, Get Through This. Making his eagerly anticipated debut on Selected. Based in Berlin, born in London and raised in Athens, the music of Thomas Sykes is as diverse as his upbringing. Transcending genres with his own seductive blend of upbeat pop, soul and R&B, the multi-faceted artist has enjoyed considerable success over the past few years off the back of hit singles including L’Amour Toujours, Will You Ever Be Mine, Miami Deja Vu and Leave Your Loverto name just a few. Now, as he looks to conclude 2021 in true style, Sykes teams up with highly esteemed, long-standing Greek record producer Mark F. Angelo (Til' The Sun Comes Up, Es Real , Tik Tok) as the pair deliver their second stunning collaborative release to date. A beautiful, downtempo vocal cut bolstered by Angelo’s drawn out piano chords, undulating basslines and Sykes’ effortlessly soulful lyrics, Nothing Compares marks the eagerly awaited sophomore collaboration from these two musical masterminds, following the critically acclaimed release of By My Side back in May 2020. Riding a wave of success following a string of remixes for A-listers, including Tove Lo and Moby, and a number of successful original releases on UK imprint Undisputed Music, British producer Frankie Polari’s trajectory seems to be moving in only one direction. 

With an enviable set of production credentials and a growing fanbase of loyal supporters, Frankie now looks to take the next step in his flourishing career with the announcement of his debut release on Selected. with 'What You Say'.

Out now, 'What You Say' sees Frankie join forces with London-based producer Ben Fellows — or NuBass as he’s more commonly known in musical circles — who has established himself at the forefront of a new wave of bass producers that focus on the darker, grittier side of the genre. 

Purveying a high-energy, house driven underground sound that’s been supported by the likes of Moski, Chris Lorenzo and Skrillex to name a few, NuBass’s debut collaboration with Frankie Polari delivers everything we’ve come to expect and more from the two in-form artists, who combine to deliver smooth piano chords, chunky four-to-the-floor rhythms and soulful male toplines on one of our favorite releases of the year so far.

Joël Vels — or JLV as he’s more commonly recognised in musical circles—has always had a knack for creating top-quality electronic music. First catching our attention with the release of his remix of Sistema’sHold On back in 2016, the hotly-tipped Dutch talent has since become an integral part of the European deep house scene, with multiple standout releases on HEXAGON, Armada and Selected., and heavy industry support from the likes of Don Diablo, NERVO, Tiesto, Oliver Heldens and EDX to name just a few. Now, with over 60 million streams to his name following a slew of megahits, including problems, Breath By Breath, Chemical DaysandBack ToYou(amongst others), JLV returns to Selected. with his latest original production, Shallow Water.
