T.U.R.F. are two Dutch friends, dj’s and producers joined by their love of old records from a wide range of genres. Last year they released their debut EP on Apparel Music, which got support from artists like Roy Davis Jr, Soul of Hex, Frits Wentink, Black Loops and many others.
After such an amazing start, they are very excited to take their music into new directions with this new EP for Black Jukebox, consisting of three diverse tracks that will bring the feel good vibes back to the club.

Like many producers in the nu-disco scene, Motte first rose to prominence by offering up a string of superb re-edits online. Since then, he's released music on Purple Disco Records and Big Love, and here makes his bow on Yam Who's mighty Midnight Riot label. There's much to enjoy about title track "Darkroom Boogie", a rolling chunk of mid-tempo goodness that brilliantly re-invents an un-credited AOR disco track as a rubbery, funk-fuelled sing-along ripe for peak-time plays. Arguably even better is bonus cut "Mount U", a tidy re-edit of a lesser-celebrated, Solar Records style early '80s electrofunk cut high on punchy horns, elastic synths and eyes-closed male vocals.

Ham N' Cheese is the name of the duo formed by the Danes Jesper Prehn and Max Thelin. Together they have created a striking EP; and it is one which makes us feel proud, as We Onleh go Deeper is full of quality and good taste. 

If we look back upon our short life as a label, this may well be the most mature and solid work that we have published. We try to enjoy our music, and on this occasion we did. 

This release offers an interesting cocktail of warm and evocative rhythms. Apart from the track We, which takes you straight to the dance floor with a solid and continuous rhythm, the songs have a deep and relaxed feel. 

On this EP, we have been joined by Ernie (Minuendo Recordings) who have given us this fabulous interpretation of Onleh , with the slow and sensual touch that characterizes his style, and that has released on labels like Morris Audio. A true work of art.
