Denis Korablev started to follow the local scene in Moscow which let him experience a new life behind the DJ booth and work closely with the local label Deepology. Together with Alexander Sancho and Olga Korol, he performs as ODY arts, a trio of artists from Russia and Ukraine. 

His inspiration comes from labels such as [a:rpia:r], Perlon, Minibar, just to name a few and from the producers coming out from Romania and East European countries. He is also founder at BodyParts records and its sub label Mind Series. D.Korablev has perfomed on key stages like ARMA17 and RODNYA.

Hailing from Lisbon Portugal, these two bestfriends, partners in life and music are prime examples of all I look for in people, artists and doers. As mentioned here before I have expressed I not only love but deeply admire those that on top of being artists are also working extremely hard to move their local scenes and beyond. A feature that always manages to capture my support and admiration and in this case it could not be different. 

Affinities with me and Toi Toi go beyond just their language, that I speak, but actually the closest that Portugal would get to the Toi.Toi.Concept I do in London and all over the world such as building a structure from scratch is brought to Lisbon by them, via the parties Anexo and Ar Livre. Coming across this was such a breath of fresh air for me as I was not aware it existed there in such a way. 

Personally, they are amazing boys, great hearts and extremely cultured, using the music as a tool to do the good, educate and connect all of us. 

Musically, they have shared the bill with many of my artists in Portugal. An essentially minimal inclination is at a core identity here hence the many affinities with us. 

This set was recorded over a cup of coffee (or two, hehe) in a very rainy morning in their studio with an amazing view to the outside. This is a very minimalistic set, traveling between breaky, dubby and housey forms of it.
