Wackies in Dub was aired on WXYC 89.3 on May 22nd, 2015.

The legendary producer & record label owner Lloyd Barnes joined us to share some wisdom about the label and his approach to music. The show features dubs spanning the length of the Wackies catalog starting with a lo-fi dub off the first LP Free For All and ending with a recent dub titled 225 St. Dubwise. There is at least one dub from every Dub LP Wackies released along with some heavy 45 B sides. All tunes are presented in order of release.

Leading up to our final session of the year, A Bass Odyssey's Jimi Handtrix put together an hour-long mix featuring productions from our back catalogue, as well as some forthcoming releases and a dub or two! With support by Saralene & Baptiste on the mic, and hornsman extraordinaire Vale on the trumpet, plus some analog delays, reverb and siren, our final Mooncast of 2019 is a proper sound system tribute to 10 Years of Moonshine Recordings!

On Saturday, December 7th, the Moonshine family will be heading to Berlin for a heavyweight sound system event at Mensch Meier. Featuring the likes of Radikal Guru, Bukkha, Numa Crew, D-Operation Drop, Mack, Jimi Handtrix, Saralène, Baptiste, Vale, plus sonic reinforcement by Pandadread Sound System and live mapping by Visual DNB, this winter edition of A Bass Odyssey is sure to bring some heat to the northern latitudes!
