Hybrid sounds are offered up by Sunderland born producer Dharma on his Lone Romantic debut.  His ‘Clear Glass’ EP lands on Maceo Plex’s left of centre imprint, offering up four tracks of futuristic garage and electro-tinged sounds.

Having previously released on esteemed labels such as R&S Records, Man Power’s Me Me Me imprint and Permanent Vacation, Dharma readies a bustling EP for Lone Romantic that showcases the young producer’s deft capabilities at working through various shades and rhythms with ease.

From the shuffling beats and choppy vox of EP opener ‘Clear Glass’, to the low-slung hip hop meets IDM influences of ‘Work Over’, Dharma serves up a highly accomplished release that effortlessly traverses genres.

“Cultivating Discipline” delves into 80s-inspired avant-garde music, designed to inspire listeners to delve into an experience that blends raw desire with unwavering dedication. The show seeks to offer a space where intensity and introspection meet, encouraging a deeper connection with the electronic music.

Katia Stieber is a boundary-pushing artist, co-founder of «Hybrid Moment» collective, which explore dark side of electronic music and draw inspiration from slow groove rhythms. This is how she describes her mix: «For the first mix of Cultivating Discipline on FadeRadio, I've put together a collection of tracks from different genres, but with a similar motif. You will be able to hear tracks on the border between indie dance and dark disco, new beat motifs, as well as technie-cold-wave. As ChatGPT likes to write, "It's a sonic journey", and I would say that this is a path that must be taken.»

SINCHI is an Amsterdam based collective of musicians, producers, artists and writers searching for those all too brief moments of truth through their chosen medium.  They have released a number of EP's on Dutch label "NightNoise" over the last couple of years with remixes from friends including Moscoman (that we premiered here at LYO), Heretic and FLVN amongst others.  In addition, they host their "Sinchi & Friends" mix series on their blog with track premieres from artists around the world.
In 2016, they launched their annual "Altered States" festival in Amsterdam. 
Sinchi is also behind www.sinchi-tribe.com, a non profit focused on the preservation of indigenous culture & knowledge. Coming soon will be a groundbreaking collaboration with aboriginal tribes and their traditional songlines with some of todays leading electronic music producers such as Tolouse Low Trax, Moscoman, Joy Orbison, Borusiade, Gilb’R or Heretic amongst others. @RoeDeers is a Lithuanian-based audio-visual project led by Liudas Lazauskas. Liudas first started DJ’ing at his parents’ club at the age of 12 while. On the Independence Day of Lithuania He picked an oddly folkloric name and that was the start of the Roe Deers project. While most of the electronic music follows a clear and often monotonic pattern, you never know what you will get from Roe Deers. . One thing for sure, is he employs all shades of love in his shows so that the only response you can give him is dance.
