Com letras que falam de paz, amor, Jah e positivas vibrações com uma batida leve e ritmada. Some a isso elementos eletrônicos, hip hop, dub, dancehall e ragga. Muito prazer, seu nome é Dada Yute. Esse é o nome escolhido pelo paulista Cauê Granello, já conhecido no cenário do reggae nacional, pelo período em que se dedicou à banda Leões de Israel.
Apontado como uma grande revelação do reggae brazuca, Dada Yute segue carreira solo e prepara o seu primeiro álbum. Na bagagem o músico traz a experiência de ter participado de importantes eventos do reggae mundial, como o festival jamaicano Rebel Salute 2006, o DVD com as bandas The Congos, Burning Spear, Nya Bhing Band, Third World, Richie Spice. Yute também já dividiu o palco com nomes como Gregory Issacs, o Gladiator Clinton Fearon e The Wailers, a originária banda do pai do reggae, Bob Marley.
No myspace do cantor os fãs já podem ter uma amostra do trabalho. Destaque para as músicas “Esperaremos Em Jah”, com clip na programação da MTV Brasil, e para a belíssima “Não Troque Sabedoria Por Ouro”, com voz e violão, bem no estilo Redemption Song, de Marley.
Ampliando sua mensagem, Dada Yute também tem músicas com letras em inglês, o que sem dúvida credencia sua música para entrar em qualquer lugar do mundo. O resultado é que o músico já fez shows em outros países da América do Sul e também Europa.
Em 2009, Dada Yute participou do programa Acesso MTV, expôs em um documentário musical sua segunda viagem para a Jamaica onde conviveu e conheceu grandes “ ícones do Reggae”. O programa está sendo reprisado na programação da emissora.

Blue King Brown's new album 'Born Free' has arrived!

The beautiful 'Babylon A Fall' features legendary Jamaican vocal group 'The Congos', one of the most distinctive and important vocal groups in Jamaica's rich musical history.

Described by central figure Natalie Pa’apa’a as the band’s “strongest collection of … songs to date”, the album was brought to life on location at Tuff Gong studios in Kingston, Jamaica – the very same utilised by genre hero Bob Marley – as well as at Melbourne’s renowned Sing Sing Studios and the band’s own digs somewhere amid the sprawl of the city.

“This album more than ever captures where and who we are in our art and activism,” Pa’apa’a said of the record. “Steadfast on our musical mission, we continue to gather and hone our skills, branching into new territories, crafting our intentions into art, communication and action ... we are given focus, determination and momentum by the indisputable and irrepressible fact that humanity is born free."

Aussie vet Mista Savona lent his talents to production, as did ARIA-winning producer Styalz Fuego and the folks of Kingston’s Notis Productions, with multi-Grammy-winner James ‘Bonzai’ Caruso handling mixing duties across Australia and the US.

"We're excited about this release,” Pa’apa’a enthused. “It's such an important time to be voicing, loud and clear, the integral duty we have to unite against systemic injustices, to reclaim our rightful freedoms, share the truth, expose governments and authorities for what they really are and importantly to be singing our support to the people who are creating new ways of thinking, living and thriving outside the current paradigm.

“We give ourselves and our music to the movement; in this day and age, what could possibly be more important than that?"
