Wenn man den Sound von @el_sandovas und ihn kennt, kann man sich gut vorstellen, wie ein 16-jähriger mexikanischer Junge Progressive House und Trance in Jugendclubs in Mexiko City kennengelernt hat - sein Mix ist ein Beispiel für den proggy Sound, der derzeit die Menschen auf den dancefloor bringt.

,,ONLYLU, Hamburg-based DJ and co-founder of OSZIL, as well as LC-O, provides a sound that can be categorized as tech-trance or progressive-house, which features mainly recent releases from France, Israel and Australia. The synergy established through a combination of breaky passages, psytrance- and acid elements, represents a currently trending sound-scape that sure promises one thing: To keep you dancing.

Besides DJing, Lu is dedicated to club culture and an active and present figure in Hamburgs club scene. Lu can be found at the Golden Pudel Club door or on the floor taking care of security and awareness matters, or at the [PAL] door as a selector. 

Gender equality in club culture and the electronic music scene remains a utopia due to dominant patriarchal structures. I see it as my responsibility to change this for the better, which is why I dedicated myself to club culture. Making a change requires a lot of patience and endurance. By being active in club culture on so many levels (organizing parties, writing and executing awareness concepts, working at the doors of Golden Pudel Club and [PAL], running two collectives and  DJing), I feel that I have a resourceful position to move something.‘‘

As a resident of Objekt klein a she always likes to return to the hallowed halls, which she once helped to create as part of the Palais Palett itself. After a few years behind the bar of her favorite club and second home, she played her first gig in 2017, then influenced by disco, her sets are now mainly house-heavy with progressive and broken influences.

In the realm of club culture activism, ttyfal wears many hats – journalist, promoter, and producer – but her truest passion lies in the DJ booth. Fueling her sets with a love for breaks and basslines, ttyfal specializes in delivering energetic, prog-heavy, and trance-infused house, making her one of Germany's most sought-after up-and-comers. Until February 2024, she holds a residency at the infamous Institut fuer Zukunft in Leipzig, where she remains at the beating heart of the local scene. Amy currently curates HOTSHOT at IfZ, collaborating with four of Leipzig's hottest artists, and ensuring that intersectional feminism and genre-nonconformity are always front and center. Since October 2023, she has started her solo-venture Hung Up at Neue Welle, showcasing all facets of contemporary progressive house. The year also saw her releasing her dynamic debut EP, a high-energy collaboration with her partner in crime, Chocolate Grinder, released under the moniker Duo Paradiso on SNC Records, including a remix by Bliss Inc.

"Viola, Rosa, Blu by Trent Voyage & Elena Moroder from the album Parasol released on Quirk.
I bought this record last year in winter and the album made me look forward to spring and summer even though it was still a long time away. All the more fitting, because I played the track in the set and think it heralds the warmer and better days. A winter depression healer. The whole record is entirely beautiful, but this track stood out."
