"In the heart of a sprawling metropolis, where the neon lights never dimmed, two underground music producers thrived in the shadows. Parch and Movin Whata were their names, and they were notorious for their wild and illegal rave parties. They lived on the fringes of society, crafting beats that pulsed like a heart racing on adrenaline.

Their latest creation was a track that whispered of debauchery and mayhem, a homegrown bootleg they cheekily called "Sweet Aboot Mehh." It was a secret anthem, known only to the most daring ravers who sought refuge in the darkest corners of the city.
One fateful night, Parch and Movin Whata decided to unleash "Sweet Aboot Mehh" on an unsuspecting crowd. They had discovered an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city, a cavernous space that seemed tailor-made for their illicit gathering. Word spread like wildfire among the city's ravers, and excitement surged through the underground community.

As the night descended, the warehouse came to life. Neon lights bathed the crowd in an otherworldly glow, and the speakers throbbed with the hypnotic rhythm of "Sweet Aboot Mehh." Parch and Movin Whata had outdone themselves, creating a sonic masterpiece that defied categorization. The beat was infectious, the bass relentless, and the melody bewitching.
Ravers from all walks of life descended upon the warehouse, their faces hidden behind masks and their inhibitions left at the door. The music took hold of them, and they danced as if possessed by a collective spirit of rebellion.

The night wore on, and as the hours melted away, the warehouse transformed into a realm of debauchery and mayhem. Revelers climbed rafters, twirled fire poi, and lost themselves in the music's embrace. The world outside faded into insignificance as Parch and Movin Whata's creation enveloped them.

But the underground scene was never without its risks. As dawn approached, the authorities caught wind of the illegal rave. Sirens wailed in the distance, and the crowd's euphoria turned to panic. Parch and Movin Whata knew they had to act fast.

With a final, thunderous drop, they shut down their impromptu stage and disappeared into the shadows. The warehouse fell silent, save for the echoing cheers of ravers who had experienced a night they would never forget.

Parch and Movin Whata retreated to their secret studio, their hearts still pounding with the adrenaline of their daring escapade. They had pushed the boundaries of the underground scene yet again, leaving behind a legend in the form of "Sweet Aboot Mehh."

Here's the fifth & final edition of my Balter blues collection consisting of 90 minutes of tunes produced solely by artists who have played and I have seen over the years I have attended the festival. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever have imagined I would get a chance to play at Balter when I released the first Balter blues mix 4 years ago and I am beyond grateful to the DRM crew for giving me the opportunity to play this year, on the final year of this magical festival. Memories I will treasure forever 💚🤍
