BOMBS RAIN addresses the ever present issue of displaced persons and refugees as a result of war. The track is broken into two sections. The first section focuses on the journey a displaced person may take to flee their country and reach a new destination as a genuine refugee. The second section challenges the listener to place themselves in the shoes of a displaced person and contemplate how they would react in a similar situation. The aim is to confront the narrow minded view of some non-indigenous Australians that refugees should ‘FUCK OFF’ because ‘WE’RE FULL’.
