"Don’t talk about it, be about it," declares the main hook of the highly anticipated new track by long-time friends and collaborators Patrick Topping and Green Velvet. Today, the electronic music heavyweights reunite for their first collaboration in nearly a decade, releasing ‘Mad Motion’ to mark the 10th anniversary of their iconic 2014 track ‘Voicemail.’

Premiered during their recent back-to-back set at Hï Ibiza, ‘Mad Motion’ instantly electrified the crowd, proving to be the ultimate peak-time club anthem. Featuring an edgy vocal hook delivered by Green Velvet himself, a pounding beat, and thick synth riffs, the track captures the essence of their original collaboration while reflecting each artist's evolution in sound.

This record started life as the most asked about ‘ID’ in Maur’s DJ sets during the Summer. Fast forward to the present day, and it finally see’s the light of day on Toolroom! A stone-cold Toolroom classic from way back in 2006 in the original Toolroom ‘family’ era when Dave Spoon (aka Shadow Child), Funkagenda, D.Ramirez and Mark Knight ruled the roost. It was always a record well ahead of it’s time, fusing electro elements with tough tech house beats and Maur, who racked up an impressive 30m + streams last year, have updated it perfectly for today’s floors. 

Maintaining much of the original vibe but adding their big room melodic twist and bundles of energy, this is already causing a huge stir at club level with Gorgon City, Alan Fitzpatrick, Danny Howard, Adam Beyer and Nicky Romero all providing early support!

Paris-born DJ, producer, vocalist and songwriter Selena Faider is building a steadfast reputation as one of France’s brightest rising stars. Known for her infectious, energy-fuelled sets, diverse selection and catchy vocal melodies, her music is making a huge impact on both clubs and radios with incredible support from Arielle Free, TSHA, Joseph Capriati over 2024, her success story to must-know name continues to accelerate heading into 2025.

Faider released her first record ‘Underground World’ alongside the New York house music legend Todd Terry, who picked up the track on his own label InHouse. It was at this time she also joined the House Gospel Choir, where she developed her skills as a vocalist, performing at the ensemble’s live shows.
Faider’s regularly been involved with Defected Records, Elrow, Beatport and played iconic venues like Printworks and Drumsheds alongside the likes of legendary DJs like Dom Dolla, Gorgon City, Sarah Story, Eats Everything and more.

Described by DJ Mag as “The Future of House”, Faider’s is one of the most exciting producers of the year so far. Track Of The Week, Dance Anthems on BBC Radio 1 with ‘Party People’. One of her latest track ‘Everybody’ went viral on TikTok with videos from The Lakers Los Angeles, Kim Kardashian Skims’, Nike. Her career continues to go from strength to strength in the dance music scene, with a string of high-profile club and festival bookings and release plans already in the calendar for 2025.
