More about the album: This compilation is comprised of the generous and beautiful work of a diverse array of artists who answered a call to participate in a story of change. Each artist was given one track from Ecdysis and the very loose instructions to interpret it in any way they liked, whether that be a cover in their own style, a remix, or an entirely new song. Letting go of the control variable (one creator) was integral to this experience as change can only really happen in conjunction with surprise, release, flexibility, curiosity, and complete lack of control. Thank you to everyone who participated. These tracks made me look at the world in so many different ways. All proceeds benefit Casa Ruby - casaruby.org This project was completed with the support of the PG County Arts and Humanities Council.
