Earlier this year, I was feeling very overlooked and unwanted. I was beginning to think I was destined to die alone and that I was worthless to everybody around me. With tears streaming down my face, I put pen to paper, wishing for the days of when 6 year old me had all the hope in the world.

After years of struggling to put together a DnB track I could be proud of, I think I've finally done it! Of course I'm still new to the genre and I will continue to learn how to make this style right. But I'm excited to explore something new and I hope to continue to grow in this direction.

I've always wanted to remix some African Pop music into EDM, but could never find the right song. But when I stumbled across Jay Hover's "One Leg" I couldn't get it out of my head. My brain just did the rest and morphed it into Dubstep. so I had to flesh it out for you guys.

"Foundation Of Sand" is about a relationship built on nothing and held up by nothing. It was destined to fail because there was nothing solid holding it together, much like a crumbling sand castle.

the main synth is an organ sound, because this song represents both a wedding and a funeral, a beginning and an end all at once, because that's all we had time for. 

I'm proud of the ambient soundscape I created in portions of this song as well :)
