In September, I’ll be performing several ambient shows and have already started preparing for them. This piece, which I’ve titled Rise, reminds me of that moment just before sunrise. The textures were created using a glockenspiel and the Soma Cosmos. For these shows, I want to bring more acoustic elements into my sets, and I’m currently putting together a kind of “sound toolkit” made of different sonic objects.

Rise

A mix created by Loscil for the Style of Sound inspired by recent encounters, interactions, collaborations with the talented community of people Loscil knows and love. Loscil focused on recent works by friends and collaborators, with some of his own work thrown in there to make him like he belongs.
