K&D continue to arbiter over the logical next steps of the music movement they helped shape. What keeps them riding that wave at the crest while the rest of us watch from below in awe. To me, the music of K&D epitomizes the form I find best suits this kind of dj: the long set. Music put together not necessarily to get people on the dance floor, or much less to work out or do chores. This is music to listen to. To kick back, light a spliff with some headphones on, Hi-Fi, high decibels, and let your head take the rollercoaster. You know in this ride you will see the top of the mountain. and the thrills wont disappoint. Every turn is calculated, every beat right on the beat. Every sound pampering the most tender senses of the brain, like only masters do.
