This one's about surveillance. About being on display. About the hidden and also quite obvious tracking of our movements in order to sell us products and services.  and for control. There are both real horns (played by the amazing Brodie West) and sampled horns (arranged by me) on this. I think they sound great together.

I began writing this song for a Christmas benefit show for the Toronto food bank, and then rewrote it many times until I was happy enough with it to include it on "caruso's brain".

--Experimental Electronic and Aesthetic, Granular Synthesis and Voice. The inspiration starts from the Gregorian melisma, then Flemish Polyphony, then Madrigals by Monteverdi, then with a leap I get to experiments on magnetic tape by Luciano Berio and Cathy Berberian (1958 omaggio a Joyce), and then Luigi Nono. Here are my sources. I elaborated the voice and interpretation of Vanessa Tagliabue Yorke, her phrases, her singing, I reconstructed the material in aesthetic form. The result is beyond my expectations. The aesthetic beauty is absolute. The transcendent reality often arrive to us. We must accept it and act as intermediary.
