Selina‘s inspiration for djing started after learning about the New York disco and Chicago house scene of the 70s and 80s. She looks up to all time legends such as Larry Levan, Nicky Siano and Frankie Knuckles, as well as more modern DJs such as Octo Octa, Roi Perez, Nat Wendell and Palms Trax. 

She aims to transmit feelings of euphoria with her sets, as well as incorporating groovey and soulful numbers - often by selecting tribal and classic house tracks from the early and late 90s with driving percussive elements. She is also interested in the therapeutic effects of sound and music and is currently studying a masters in music therapy. 

Selina has played several locations across Berlin such as Watergate, Oxi, About Blank, RSO, Renate, Ritter Butzke, Studio108, Skalar, Bucht der Träumer and Home Again Festival; in the Netherlands and in Greece.
