Xelina‘s inspiration for djing started after learning about the original New York disco and Chicago house scene. She looks up to all time legends such as Larry Levan, Nicky Siano and Frankie Knuckles, as well as more modern DJs such as Octo Octa, Nat Wendell, Palms Trax and Job Jobse. She aims to transmit both feelings of euphoria and ecstasy with her sets, as well as incorporating groovey and soulful numbers - often by selecting progressive and classic house tracks from the early and late 90s with driving percussive elements. She is also interested in the therapeutic effects of sound and music and is currently studying a masters in music therapy. 
Xelina has played several locations across Berlin such as Watergate, About Blank, RSO, Renate, Ritter Butzke, Bitgit Club, Studio108, Anita Berber, Mensch Meier, and Home Again Festival;  Netherlands and Greece.
