We started with how Julius got into music, which lead him to become a photographer. This in turn allowed him to become Tucson hip hop festival's official photographer. We talked how he went through this year's fest leading a group of student/intern photographers. Some how this got us talking about cats and the parasite that lives in their stomach. Finally leading us to his experience working at a particle accelerator.

Runt is someone who like to have something to do. The thing that ended up being was rapping. A very down to earth, humble, guy. We talked about how he got started in high school. Being that one guy who was able to give away CDs cause he took it that far. How he is more focus on the process of creating more so than the actual project. Very fruitful conversation. As a young man tried his hand at being a rapper which made him appreciate the growing hip-hop culture here in Tucson, pushing him later to keep him engage with the community. Trying to figure out away to do it without being a rapper found himself becoming a graphic designer. What made him interested in throwing such an event. Got into how he and Max met 7 years ago in a smaller scale version of what they are doing now together. Meleena, a.k.a. Dj Humblelianess, has lived a very eventful life. We started with her experience with modeling which took her to both coast of the US. As in a adult in DC started to really get into music which she had an adept intrigue and curation ability since a child. This propelled her to working for a club there behind the scenes, seeing the likes of Fort Knox Five. Familial ties brought her back to Tucson and then Mexico. Eventually she got the confidence to become a full fledged DJ now a resident member in El Tambo. Hope you all enjoy!!

Anna tweeted " God was Judas" on a random day which fascinated me and cause this conversation to happen. 

Anna Flores is an author, poet and Co-Founder New Carpa Collective. Currently in the MFA program in ASU, where she found an essay titled "The Three Versions of Judas" by Jorge Luis Borges which sparked this conversation. It started with a dissection of previously mentions biblical character, to Nispey Hussle and the dilemma of Truth. Hope you all like this! It was a great conversation!

Stephanie works with The Colibrí Center for Human Rights, which is an NGO with the mission to end migrant death and related suffering on the U.S.-Mexico border. They collaborate with families and forensic scientists to find the missing and help identify the dead. Since they began their Missing Migrant Project in 2006, their team has collected more than 3,000 reports from families searching for loved ones. They compare the information the families provide about missing people to the information medical examiners determine from examining people who have lost their lives. Through their DNA Program, they collect DNA samples from families who wish to have their DNA compared against that of unidentified individuals in the hope that these comparisons will give families the answers they need. https://www.colibricenter.org
