The song opens with a whispered reflection on how comfort and silence are sold as truth. The first verse exposes the widening gap between rich and poor, portraying justice as wounded and passive. The pre-chorus introduces emotional dissonance—people play along, but something inside is breaking. The chorus delivers the central metaphor: a “hollow parade” where decay is normalized and silence is mistaken for peace.

Subsequent verses dive into:
- Lobbyism and political corruption, where laws are bought and democracy becomes theater.
- The rise of fascist ideologies, masked as patriotism and tradition.
- Digital alienation, where curated pain and social media numb real suffering.
