The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound - the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.

Blank Code is a Detroit, USA techno outfit that have released music by artists like Bas Mooy, Mike Parker, Brian Sanhaji, DJ Hyperactive, Drumcell, and many more.

Texas-based producer Declan James runs the VOIDWARE imprint and events, also listing music on labels such as Edit Select Records, Max Gardner's Peer, drxvo's Synergie, and Secus' Rituals amongst others. The Dallas native is making a significant contribution to the upcoming generation of American techno producers with both a domestic and international touring schedule.

Beginning with "Pendulums," a classic sci-fi trip with modular bleeps amidst a slinking, bouncing rhythm section for a perfect lesson in patience and restraint.

"Levitation" has an otherworldly feeling and floats along a sparse track of swirling drones, chugging bass pulses, and classy percussion taps for a mesmerising and introspective journey.

"Transmutate" throws down a stuttering kick drum, haunting tones, and bending modular notes for a grooving yet dystopian analogue concoction.

The final track "Absolved" sees a deep dive into details and dub influences. Where eerie rattles and precision production form a memorable dose of sizzling hot, futuristic, and fantastic techno.

“Between Lines & Notes is an immersive live performance that merges meditative ambient soundscapes with the delicate spontaneity of real-time drawing on paper. This collaboration unfolds as a sensory dialogue between sound and line, a contemplative experience where each tone resonates with movement, and each stroke echoes the pulse of silence. Audiences are invited into a space of stillness and presence, where time slows down and the boundaries between listening and seeing begin to dissolve. This project explores the intersection of sound, gesture, and visual rhythm. Re:Axis crafts expansive, evolving sonic environments, textured layers of tone and resonance that evoke both intimacy and vastness. Meanwhile, Nettie Burnett responds live through drawing, translating sound into organic forms and textures. Her gestures, captured in real time on paper and projected for the audience, become an extension of the music, ephemeral yet deeply human. Together, they create a live dialogue between two languages: one auditory, one visual, both guided by intuition and momentary flow. For this Voices edition we unite producers across the techno panorama with different backgrounds in producing and playing music.
The theme of this series is to find your voice, to express your voice as well as listening to others.
Menous opening track “Meguri” carries an atmospheric, floating feeling, followed by an joyful and playful approach by Mary Yuzovskaya with “Late AM”. Then there is the spoken words (vinyl only), in the mothertongue of each Artist, on the A and B side to be explored. Additionally there are texts by Jule Hölzgen and Yun Park.
The B side opens with “Oya”, a track by Sarah Wreath exploring soundscapes and hypnotizing elements. The final track “Ash” by Laima Adelaide unfolds a colder atmosphere and groove.
The artwork by Yeliz Kiliçaslan encapsulates this vinyl in a textured envelope.

The term annex typically describes a structure joined to a main building, offering extra space or function. In this spirit, Tresor Records revives the ANNEX series with a new end-of-year collection that serves as an extension of the label and club’s output, adding to the creative life that has unfolded within Köpenicker Str. 70 over the past years.

Since the club moved in 2007, the Kraftwerk complex has been repurposed from its original use as a power station to fulfil multiple functions that bring people together to collaborate and congregate: Office, venue, club, exhibition space, and home to the Berlin Atonal festival, the Tresor Foundation, and the Academy of Subcultural Understanding. With the arrival of the Hard Wax record shop in 2023, the building now offers another way for the like-minded to come together and to share ideas in a common space.

ANNEX echoes the many roles of the building by fostering introduction, connection, and creation: all of the music within was created by individuals directly linked to Tresor: from club staff and residents to Hard Wax employees and long-time friends.

Across 28 tracks, the compilation unites artists from various backgrounds and generations, some collaborating for the first time, creating a moment in motion as Tresor heads into a new year.
