There’s no denying it’s been a time of deep reflection, on an individual level for us all and, of course, for our scene and its artists, promoters, agents and you guys and gals. In taking away our dance floors, and so much more, COVID nudged us to review, reflect, reminisce and re-assess, on multiple levels and in numerous ways.

As for us, we’ve certainly thought about the part we want to play in our scene going forward, reflecting on our values and refining our vision. More of this to come.

What’s been going on inside the minds of artists at such a challenging time has been a big curiosity for us. It’s therefore a huge honour to bring you this very special On the 5th Day feature, featuring a beautifully sincere and open written “reflections” from our previous resident and cherished friend, Svreca (aka Enrique Mena), together with a dynamic, raw and truly unique trip down memory lane from the man himself, in the form of an extended segment of his 2014 FRUE performance at Unit in Tokyo.

As you’ll read, Japan holds a very special place in Enrique’s heart and this night, and the creative freedom he experienced was not to be forgotten, for him or the music lovers fortunate enough to be there.

A pure, perfect, dynamic Svreca moment, oozing with originality and the Svreca flair we've grown to love.

The sixth of the LDG Mix Series is experimental and ritualistic, hypnotic and abstract, and we feature Mike Parker, a master who has had a huge impact and influence on the techno scene for a long time.

Claudio PRC is celebrated for his deep, hypnotic techno having released music on respected labels like Prologue Music and Semantica Records. Based in Berlin, he performs globally, infusing his sets with ambient and experimental sounds influenced by his Sardinian heritage.

This Friday he joins Patrice Baümel for a special Love Hertz showcase.

About Luigi:
Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer Luigi Tozzi has so far been released on the established label Dynamic Reflection as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label Hypnus Records from Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with Dino Sabatini which led to the opportunity to join Outis Music.

One of those days where everything fits and the crowd is magical. The transition from light to dark, a warmup for what became an epic closing to the second day of the festival.

Recorded at our club night back in November at BLÅ in Oslo, Norway. Svreca serves up a penetrating three hour set which shook the venue as it fused sophisticated electronica, obscure droning wormholes and persistent rhythmic loops. Enjoy!
