Channelling fragmented vocal phrases wrapped in dance music-inspired production, the latest single from Semi Precious' forthcoming album Post-Euphoria delivers a succinct yet powerful message on memory and its lack thereof. And just like memory itself, Forget U’s soundworld is presented as fluid and malleable, at times faded and elusive, as the vocal mantra is being repeated and juxtaposed, tapping into the tension between remembrance and amnesia and leaving a poignant, bittersweet trace.
