I created this mix a few years ago to have sometime relaxation, yet that will not put me to sleep either. It shifts on the tempos, but stays pretty upbeat for the most part. I don't even remember half of the songs I have on there, yet I know some are extremely rare. I have to dig my crates if you want the full track listing

I did this mix on the fly before heading to the gym a few years back. I wish I can provide the track list, but I don't even have any clue of what some of the tracks are now.

20 Minute Electro Workout Mix

I did this mix for my lady back in 2008, who eventually became my wife. I started the mix with the "Ice King Remix" by Res because when we first met we were just not looking for a relationship. Yet that all changed once we spent some quality time together. Thats why I appropriately chose "Change it All" by Goapele to follow, with Amerie's "Why Don't We Fall In Love" (Richcraft Remix) right after. I'm not getting any younger and I've traveled the world and back. Its been fun, but why search any further when I got who I want? So next track I played was "Rock wit u" by DJ Jazzy Jeff Feat. Eric Roberson. The rest keeping going with selected tracks of how I feel and what may come.. or ended up becoming. Every relationship has their ups and downs. Yet at the end, she'll always be my "Magical Glo"... By The Ill. Thats the last track by the way. Blame my faulty cables/bad rca port for the static every once in a while.

Semp Rok's first major effort on radio started with the Bringing It Back on Wax Show done by Anonyms1 , Billy Howl III, Semp Rok and Obscure Semantics. After this show stopped due to plans on taking it elsewhere at another station, Semp remained with the slot that hip-hop heads fiend to listen to every Saturday Night on 88.1 FM in Miami.

Soon after, Semp brought along Ruin whose been a close friend from the organization " Hip-Hop Culture@ Florida International University, which Semp [http://www.myspace.com/semp] founded. Ruin had been making beats in his lab and working the industry on a marketing level. This is where both of them connect. Making sure that they get the word out with the appropriate vibe.

Along the line came Dj Omega who was first featured as a special guest with Dropzone Productions. Then he began to guest DJ, until he became crew and has help build the foundation for not only The Late Night BBQ Show, but for the Miami Hip-Hop Scene. The Late Night BBQ Coalition knows that South Florida harbors talent that many do not know of, but yet they will search every step to find them and get hem out. Bringing nothing but Love every week, and like always "Bringing That Funk To Your Grill."


All good things must come to an end, except this show. After Ruin and DJ Omega paid their dues DJ Trees and Paper emerged, and extended the BBQ lifeline in Fall 2002. This show would have become a lasting tradition, but we decided to stop the show in December 2004 after reanalyzing the situation. Working at a station where a bunch of kids whom don't know about music is not a good look. .. Keep Hip-Hop Alive. 


This Lead to a new era. Semp Rok started a new show on HOOD Radio called "Return of the B-Boy". This is a few months after he called it quits on WRGP with his last show, "The Late Night BBQ". This show has no affiliation to the Break dancing jams called "Return of The B-Boy", but shows the same respect to the B-Boy.. and not just the aspect of Break Dancing. Its the essense of the B-Boy. The last dying breed of the Hip-Hop Culture.
