Made in Famitracker using VRC6+MMC5 expansions. Also overclocked to 400 Hz, which means that you probably don't want to try playing this on a real NES.

Personally I feel like this is one of my best pieces of work.
I got stuck close to the end trying to figure out the second part of the drop. at first the beat had a more dubsteppy feel, but the transition into it was really jarring, so I just changed it back to a trap beat. The transition back into stereotypical 8-bit at the very end might also be a little sudden, I don't really know.

Old original, started in 2015 and finished in late 2016. Part of a perpetually-unfinished, pseudo-game soundtrack "The Biggest Adventure," it's a childhood concept for a video game my brother and I conceived when I was like in 4th grade.

Of course, the game never came to fruition. But when I first downloaded Famitracker I thought "hey what if it actually was a game, what would the songs sound like," and that's why this song exists.

Made using MMC5 expansion. Pulse kicks maybe was not a good decision but the tradeoff for the tasty triangle lead was 100% worth it. Oh, also, splitting up the rap to import it as DPCM samples was such a pain in the ass lol. Getting the timing right was the part that took the longest tbh.

Uses VRC6 expansion. Once again, splitting up the rap and importing it into DPCM samples was such a pain, and the main reason why this took so long. Actually, I ended up splitting the file into two so the samples would fit within the 256 kB per file limit... technically I could have fit it all into one if I lowered the sample quality a bit but even just that made it sound like ass. I think the FES part turned out a bit quiet in the end but I don't care anymore it's done now LMAOOO.
