once in a while i make something like this. 

a simplistic setup with a couple of synths and some max madness, live  improvisation to see where it would end up.....well it ended up at 31 minutes and so far i haven't been tempted to cut any of it.

i suggest you sit back and enjoy before i change my mind and hide it in my hard drive

new one, theres about 30 versions of this track all different variations, over the past year or so, one of the last ones to be made entirely with just ableton, one of the mental block tracks i can never decide on, so a quick "havent heard it in ages so im kinda objective" mix and upload to get it out of my system and move on

Senator - Cherenkov Storm

just a draft of a simple bass loop with some modulation and a kick, and some bits of processing too for some air, no more than an hour put into this so will probo take it down and put some more jiggly bits in it,l but i kilnda like the simplicity, 

ARP 2600 soft synth and 808 kick used,  a tiny white noise generator comes in throughout but its barely there so shh (exactly!)

quick one shot, just pressed record and off we go! increasingly the only way i make music for myself at the moment,

next time though ill probably use ableton clip to play the synth instead of having to hold the two notes down the whole time (amateur mistake meant the track had to be done one handed - thus all the weird modulation jumps!!)

been quite a while since i uploaded something, damn premium account ran out so the mixes hid everything else!! ive deleted them...but it was very handy lashin them on off soundcloud at the odd afterparty but oh well, bout time ive put new stuff up and shown where my head has evolved to....

ten worth is just an all out banger with a bit of funk in it to jump around to in a dark room with a strobe and a smoke machine.

first one in a while after working on "other" projects the last few months....more in anticipation of my next synth arriving in a couple days than anything else, that soundscape is rather nice though....defo saved the patch this time!

New track i have done as part of the PLUG connection dj conference, the whole thing was made using samples from field recordings we made during the week of the conference back in febuary, was alot of fun working with and fucking up some of the sounds made, and this is the only finished one for now but theres a few more on the go i may work on in the future...
