Hace tiempo que me es un poco más difícil poder asistir a la mayoría de estrenos en el cine, así que he dejado pasar muchas películas, principalmente animadas, desde el año pasado. 

A veces intento ponerme “al día” en mis ratos libres, aunque la mayoría de producciones norteamericanas no son de mi total agrado, mucho menos cuando se trata de animación, pero por influencia de mis colegas o compañeros de trabajo, siempre resulto dándoles una oportunidad. Y ese fue el caso de mi más reciente adicción (?) “Hotel Transylvania” Una película de Sony Pictures Animation, dirigida por el gran Genndy Tartakovsky y que hace 6 días vi con una amiga por primera vez.

La amé como a pocas películas animadas recientes XD la verdad es que ni yo mismo sé explicar por qué me gustó TANTO, pero como dicen dentro de la propia peli, “me hizo click” y no hay manera de expresar eso. 

Adoré muchísimo a todos los personajes y su diseño TAN Genndy, además el estilo de animación “elástica” y exagerada me pareció muy original. Lamentablemente me llevé una triste sorpresa cuando me enteré que no existe un soundtrack oficial y que ninguna de sus canciones fueron realizadas comercialmente…

La película cuenta con temas musicales muy divertidos y pegadizos, así que es realmente desilusionante que no haya manera de escucharlos completos fuera de la película, así que desde hace un par de noches me puse el trabajo de intentar samplear y re-hacer la canción de la fiesta del cumpleaños de Mavis, [link de la secuencia completa aquí: http://youtu.be/pnGeUptluGI?t=1m7s] Y aunque obviamente mi versión no tiene la mejor calidad, es lo mejor que pude hacer tan sólo mezclando partes de audio rippeado directamente del DVD y otras recreadas por mí, repitiendo loops de las versiones no oficiales. Mi punto era conseguir la mayor cantidad de música limpia de voces y efectos de sonido, [aunque fuera desde distintas fuentes] pero conservando la longitud de la canción en la película e improvisándole un sugerido final ya que la original no termina, sino sólo se interrumpe.

Parece broma, pero es uno de los audios más dedicados que he realizado últimamente, así que espero lo disfruten mucho y que resortéen con el cuello al ritmo de la canción, así como el monstruo de la laguna negra XDD
