Sengiley Wax launches "Russian Series" !

Today is the release of the debut album "Album" from our guys - the band @poeli and it's a big event on the map of the Russian independent electronic scene.

Poely is an experimental duet of two producers and DJs Ilya Kasharokov and Sergey Kishkin, also known as @ellipse-1 and russian @srgshkn director 5 Букв radio, organized in 2020 as a series of friendly jam sessions.
The album is an original fusion of fusion music with elements of electronics and broken rhythms with unconventional narration, originality of sound and originality, the compositions reflect well the mood of the musicians at this moment in this difficult time for everyone.
It's quite difficult to describe the duo's style in two words: somewhere we can hear rather classical shades of house, some works are made in downtempo style, in other - broken breaks, footwork style beats and shades of new wave of jazz. Despite the multi-genre nature, traveling through the duo's compositions, it's easy to see the integrity of their sound and recognizable style.

Their live performances always use live guitars, synthesizers, and other musicians - bassists and drummers - were also invited when recording the album.

The return of Sengiley Wax with the second part of the Russian series!
Without too much thought, the choice fell on the representative of the unique Russian producer Konstantin Isaev, better known as Volta Cab. However, here we see a completely different side of him, which he is actively developing at the moment - Rambal Cochet.
Magma Resort is the producer's musical spectrum here and now, ranging from canonical Trance to dips into ambient as well as house music sounds.

Konstantin tells us: "This album was created using a Reason DAW, Korg Minilogue and Korg Electribe. It was inspired by the magical atmosphere (in Krasnodar it's always so), my move from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar, as well as nostalgia for something new, but at the same time so familiar".

1. Magma Resort - inspired primarily by the work of Pavel Yesenin and Yuri Usachev and the group "Guests From the Future", as well as progressive dream trance of the early noughties.

Sengiley Wax is back with its second V/A selection of music with a deeper touch. After its first release which dates back to March, the next chapter on the label includes music from artists such as THEOS, Hatt.d, Max Telaer, Manuold, Marc Brauner and Felix Nowak alias Jon Gravy. Latter kicks off the EP with his tune Over Now – a Deep House symphony as classy and classical as it can be. Deep chords paired with a jacking house groove and an almost soulful-seemingly vocal are Gravy's key-ingredients for this piece that surely gets any dancefloor started to move rhytmically in the beat of the music, which – despite its deepness – spreads a nostalgic yet positive vibe. The Vienna-based artist delivers another tremendous take, which comes in the (signature) style of his previous contributions and EPs on labels like forTunea or PETS Recordings.

His monthly UNCUT RHYTHM DJ sets are a brew of groovy jackin' house and underground techno, as well as bumpy garage and snippy loaf.

In the studio, BINOFSKI takes his own unique approach that connects the dots to his sound as a DJ. Groove-oriented and hardware-dependent, you can expect a sound heavily based on analog synths and drum machines, deep, groovy and with a distinct '90s house flavor. It's quite difficult to describe the duo's style in two words: somewhere we can hear rather classical shades of house, some works are performed in downtempo style, in other works you can hear beats in footwork style. Despite the multi-genre character, travelling through the duo's compositions, the integrity of the sound and recognizable style is easily traceable. Live guitar is always used in their live performances, and other musicians - bass guitarists and drummers - are also invited when writing the album "Альбом".

Описать стиль дуэта в двух словах довольно сложно: где-то мы можем услышать довольно классические оттенки хауса, некоторые работы выполнены с стиле downtempo, в других же работах можно услышать биты в стиле footwork. Несмотря на мультижанровость, путешествуя по композициям дуэта, легко прослеживается целостность звучания и узнаваемый стиль. В лайвах "Поели" всегда используется живая гитара, а при написание альбома "Поели" приглашают и других музыкантов - басс гитаристов и барабанщиков.

The return of Sengiley Wax with the second part of the Russian series!
Without too much thought, the choice fell on the representative of the unique Russian producer Konstantin Isaev, better known as Volta Cab. However, here we see a completely different side of him, which he is actively developing at the moment - Rambal Cochet.
Magma Resort is the producer's musical spectrum here and now, ranging from canonical Trance to dips into ambient as well as house music sounds.

Konstantin tells us: "This album was created using a Reason DAW, Korg Minilogue and Korg Electribe. It was inspired by the magical atmosphere (in Krasnodar it's always so), my move from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar, as well as nostalgia for something new, but at the same time so familiar".

1. Magma Resort - inspired primarily by the work of Pavel Yesenin and Yuri Usachev and the group "Guests From the Future", as well as progressive dream trance of the early noughties.

Welcome VA SNGWAX01, the first vinyl release from Sengiley Recordings.

Up first at the A1 slot is Sisters & Brothers by @joint4nine, a funky number with a distinct 90s trip-hop feel, featuring lashings of vocal samples, quirky synths and a rhythm that will have you skipping the needle back to the start of the record over and over.

Next is Check The Vibez by Soul Bridges the project of two brothers @jr-from-dallas & @steve-faets-1 , a deep and soulful house number with bass and keys that go on for miles! Add in some captivating vocals and a pulsing beat, and you have a guaranteed floor filler on your hands.

First on the flip side is Gardens By The Bay by @lastnubian , a striped back deep house beauty with a tantalising intro that entices you to keep listening. Gorgeous EP loops, a throbbing bass line and hypnotic vocals make Gardens By The Bay the perfect after hours groover.

In at the B2 spot is @donniemoustaki with Doobie Moustaffi, a syncopated track with an alluring intro setting the scene for a synth laden voyage through the funkier side of house. With a laid-back vibe, Doobie Moustaffi is the perfect jam for the after-hours late bar.

As if four tracks weren’t enough, @sofa-talk & @xlregular step up with their remix of Doobie Moustaffi, a more upbeat, garage tinged version of the original. With samples, synths, keys and a beat that screams “get up and dance!”, this is the perfect end to an awesome vinyl premier for Sengiley Recordings!
