This entire EP was created in Koala Sampler and mastered in Cubasis 3 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

"The Beginning" was meant to be more of a modern House track, but it sounds more like a marriage between Synthwave and House, lol.

"Haunted House" is my Halloween 2023 track!  Fun story behind this one is I created most of it while waiting 8 hours for my car to be repaired by the auto shop.  I did final tweaks to the overall mix once I returned home.

"I Spy" is an attempt at a recent genre of HipHop that has emerged and became popularised in the last year.

"For a Friend" was tailor made for one of my friends who's helped me out of very tight situations in the past.  They specified genre, key, instruments, etc, and I followed through for them.

"Nocturnal Pulse" was created in conjunction with AI, where I asked ChatGPT some questions and it gave me its answers.  Then I created the track based on those answers.

"Neon Dreamscape" came about when one of my friends expressed a huge interest in Vaporwave.  The difference between most Vaporwave and this track is this track doesn't sample other music.  Created 100% from scratch.

So today, I did a small challenge in Nanostudio 2 where I could only use Bleass Monolit as my sound source, and the other limitation was I was only able to use internal plugins for effects (with the exception of Youlean's Loudness Meter to get loudness levels to where I wanted them to be).

Bleass Monolit is a very versatile free plugin on iOS, and I've enjoyed using that synth quite a lot.  Cheers and enjoy!

I’ve wanted to create some pieces inspired by the 3,000 odd megalithic stones at Carnac, Brittany, NW France. When I saw the challenge on the AudioBus Forum to use just the (free) Monolit synthesiser from French developer Bleass, it seemed a perfect alignment. Although I had thought I would use the numerical attributes of the site to inform generative algorithms, this first piece muses that as for the stones, with the passing of time, the purpose of many things we take for granted today will be forgotten.
