Senja Sounds: A monthly series featuring special guests who share their one-hour mix, drawing inspiration from the sunset—their unique perspective on 'Senja.' All sounds are welcome.

To kick off the series, founder HJM presents his interpretation of Senja Sounds. Immerse yourself in lush Balearic soundscapes, with Ibiza-kissed beats, melodic jazz and salty deep house from the likes of Naked Music, Groove Armada, and Alan Hawkshaw.

This journey is best enjoyed with a rich sound system, a Negroni in hand, Linen head to toe, and, of course, the sunset.

Introducing this month’s guest, a rare flower in the vibrant music scene, Manumagick. 

Dive into the lush greenery of Bali’s earth that inspired her transcendental mix.

This month, we introduce Lucas Laughlin, a resident of Province 44 pioneering the sound in the North East. Hypnotic groves and that cheeky smile from LL will have you spellbound, movin’ and groovin’ to sounds from the likes of Max Chapman, Franky Rizardo, and Bassel Darwish. Whether it's an Ibiza sundown sail or a nighttime poolside jamboree, stick this mix on at 6 pm or 6 am - either works.

This month we welcome George Miller who needs little intro - we’ll let the mix do the talking. Essence: 6:42 pm in Pattaya on the South coast of the Thailand. White sand, dark orange skies…. This month, we introduce Ian Sink, bringing you west coast wavelengths—summertime by The City of Angels. An avid crate digger and selector across the map, you’ll find Ian in his element spinning deep underground at Province44 or at his co-owned label parties, Des Nocturne. This mix seamlessly transitions across the spectrum of house, with silky smooth tracks from the likes of Astral Wayne, Aline Umber, Penelope, and Liquid Earth. “Move with your soul, not the tendencies.”

This month, we’re thrilled to present Liquid Chris—a sonic alchemist blending global rhythms with transcendent beats. Known for his seamless fusion of Afrobeat's pulse and the hypnotic allure of Middle Eastern melodies, Liquid Chris creates a soundscape that moves beyond borders. Whether it’s a soirée amongst the shoreline garden of Baku or an intimate rooftop gathering in Cairo, this mix takes you on a journey from the heart to the dance floor. Sounds from Chus & Ceballos, Elfenberg, and Dyzen flow effortlessly, offering an eclectic soundtrack for the sun’s descent.

This month, we bring you none other than the co-founder and original resident Jamie Aijala of NYC-based, Miami-born collective Don’t Follow (The White Rabbit). A lot of love for Jamie and the DFTWR crew. Where’s Alice? That’s for you to find out. Little needs to be said, 45 minutes is all it takes. Slam-packed tuneage by the likes of Crazp P, Blue Six, and Hot Toddy.

This month, we’re thrilled to welcome Owen Hudgins, aka Trader O, a producer/DJ from Los Angeles making waves in the underground house scene. Surrounded by music his entire life, he began producing in 2020 to bring his creative vision to life.

Fueled by raw grooves and funk influences, and taking cues from artists like Luuk Van Dijk, Kid Crème, and Prunk, Trader O is serving up fresh beats—not bananas. This groove market is all his. Keep an eye out for him laying it down in his Midnight Linens.

This month, we’re ecstatic to introduce Emmett Wetter, a trailblazing talent in the underground scene. Originally from New York, Emmett is now a resident DJ at Province 44 in Boston, where he's renowned for his dynamic sets that push the limits.

With a style that's both fresh and impactful, Emmett's mixes blend percussive rhythms and driving basslines, inspired by top labels like Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Cuttin' Headz. His ability to interlace chart-topping tracks with lesser-known deep selects keeps his sound distinct and constantly evolving, making him a key player in shaping Boston's local scene.
