You decide to finally clean up the drawer in your desk. You pull out a 1992 calendar with the Bulgarian football club «Etar», a postcard with the Riga TV tower sent to you by a person whose bare buttocks you sometimes remember, then you’ll pull out a bitter resentment for the fact that in the eighth grade no one called you to dance at school disco, and a dusty mix of Krjuk for 5/8: the radio which you turn on whenever you want to imagine yourself as a tanned resident of a sanatorium in Gagra.

Today's mix is a guaranteed way to immerse yourself in sweet languor, even if you go for a beer to the local bottle shop in Lytkarino. We want to thank Alexey Kryuk, musician, DJ and a member of the Soft Metal band, for taking the time to find this treasure among his countless archival creations

Next up at Edwin Music channel is Berlin-based producer and DJ @benediktfrey and his close friend @menqui with whom he co-runs the label R.i.O.

For EDWIN MUSIC CHANNEL, he joined forces with his friend Menqui, who is overseeing the administration for the R.i.O. label, is part of the Berlin-based Muting The Noise Record Store and Distribution crew, runs a radio show for Cashmere Radio and plays regular in all those small, but delicate Berlin bars and little dancefloor venues. Together they prepared an epic mix, created live and direct in Menqui’s living room, featuring all sorts of music from pop, Trip-Hop, and Hip-hop to free-tripping electronic grooves. It is Corner Song that gets remixed by Good Timin’ and Running Back man Jex Opolis. Famous for his disco infused synth pop sound he is a master of his own musical world. His version is eight minutes of laid-back tropicalia. Slowly churning drums and knotted funk-bass prop it up as an eco-system of pops, clicks and hits add to the steamy and sensuous groove.
