This recording session finds Victorian Bug in less noisy territories, experimenting with tonality this time instead of generating cacophonies.

"Tonal hydra" is a song that advances at the speed of a slug and it's based on an evergrowing piano chord; "Wire, matches, pliers, duct tape and twisted smiles" toys with heavy delay applied to a string octet, and under the off-kilter name of "Come to me, oh, japanese women" lies a complex collage of copy-pasted and reversed found sounds over chromatic percussions in mutating time signatures.

The road had not always been empty.
Once, it carried voices, footsteps, the ordinary noise of lives moving forward without thinking too hard about where they were going. Now it held only mist and memory.

The trees leaned inward, their branches threading together like ribs over a long spine of tarmac. Leaves clung where they could, rust-coloured and stubborn, refusing to admit the season was finished with them. The air smelled damp, old, patient.

Far ahead, a single red light burned. Not a warning exactly. Not a promise either. Just proof that something still remembered how to shine.

Those who walked this road did not rush. They understood that darkness was not an enemy to be outrun, but a place to pass through. Each step stirred the fog, and with it the quiet knowledge that night does not end all at once. It loosens its grip slowly, reluctantly.

The light flickered, then steadied.
And for the first time in a long while, the road felt like it was leading somewhere again.

The Void Remembers.
