Liverpool born producer and DJ Melé recently received the coveted title of Hottest Record In The World from Radio 1 tastemaker Annie Mac for his edit The Beyonce Track.

Melé effortlessly lays down a thudding drumbeat laced with intricate tribal percussion, and a breakdown that borrows the trumpet section from Queen Beyoncé's 2003 hit Crazy In Love. 

It's a full power production that has been creating serious heat in his DJ sets and across festivals all summer long.

Melé has built a solid reputation for his skills in the booth whilst running his event series Club Bad and headlining festivals this summer like Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide.

Another month means Another release!! Thanks again all for all the support on the Jay Ward EP as we managed another Juno Number 1!. This month we give you Dubzta, A well known Grime/Dubstep Producer from the roster over at our sister label Project Allout records. This EP has had major early support from the legend that is DJ EZ over on his NuVolve Radio including it being a Track of the Week! 

So to start off with...
1. Overdue - The Lead track from the EP, this 140bpm 4x4 Hitter brings hard hitting energy to the the release, with a melody that will be stuck in your head for weeks with beautiful piano strings in the backing it up! We are so happy to get this out there as it's been a personal favourite for a while now.
2. Out of here - Now onto Out of here, this one is a complete different style of vibe compared to Overdue, this ones a melodic 2-Step with more melodic chord structure's from Dubzta, this ones more of the early starting warm up style.
3. All Day All Night - Going from Four to the Floor heavy hitters to 2 Step Vibing we now bring you a 4x4 House banger! this ones the one to get everyone moving from there screens at home to there car radios. Simplistic vocal chops and melodies again make this a tune from the starting days of sunday scenes to 2020!
4. Clarky - The final track brings another smooth 2-Step track with classic garage sounds tucked inside, this simplistic banger has another body moving feel to it which will feel the sound systems and car radios across the country.

IndiAlman become only the second international artists to appear on the label. Alex & Ashef out of Essen, Germany bring a weighty underground take on the infamous Mr. Ozio’s ‘Flat Beat’ from 1999.

With the IndialAman project only starting in 2018 and properly gaining traction in 2019 their rise has come at a strange time, right in the midst of a pandemic preventing them from properly spreading their wings in live environments. You may be mistaken in thinking that would hold them back but it seems to have given them even more motivation to make themselves standout with their productions amassing support from the key tastemakers currently leading the UKG scene - DJ EZ, Conducta, Sammy Virji & Smokey Bubblin’ B. Outside the UKG scene this has even lead to support from Night Bass boss AC Slater across the pond on his ever popular streams as we adjust to temporary life without raves. The German duo have even been recognised and followed by the legendary Skream whom is their main influence behind getting into UK underground music alongside Rusko and Noisia.

Working closely with some relatively new underground labels that have been making waves in the last couple of years such as Supersize, Strictly House & Garage and of course our good friends over at On The Wax, their reputation here in the UK has been climbing and climbing paving the way for them to enter the 1Forty ranks with a bootleg giveaway of arguably one of the biggest dance anthems of the past two decades.

Sensa is one of the brightest upcoming artists in the UK underground music scene. Through his consistent ability to produce unique and hard-hitting music in a variety of genres, he has gained support for his work from industry pioneers such as DJ EZ, Sammy Virji, and Conducta. After several UK Garage releases with established labels -  Wang Records and Steppers Club - the Bristol-based producer has experimented with genres such as breakbeat and jungle, with one of his most recent breakbeat collaborations - 'Take Me Away' with Sam Deeley - being played by Disclosure on their most recent UK tour. His diversity in production transfers seamlessly to his DJ sets which host a range of genres and are always leaving the audience guessing. With a number of high-profile releases under his belt and experience playing in notable venues across the UK such as Lakota and o2 Academy Leicester, Sensa has truly established himself as one of the most exciting artists that UK underground music has to offer.
