Mark comes to us by way of PBR family veteran Phabulous Phunk and his debut release on DBR is nothing short of spectacular. We're super excited to present the perfect track for boat cruises, warehouses, clubs or festivals. Mark's original mix is reminiscent of that broken beat house vibe and if you're a fan of Claude von Stroke's dirtybird label, you'll want this in your book, usb key or hard drive. Florida bass with the swing of techy housed-out drums... This is already on some big guns playlists!

The remix comes by way of South Africa from the very talented Munnibrotherz. If you've checked out Beatport lately you'll see these guys are starting to make waves with their take on vibed out house beats. Straight funk from beginning to end with a cheeky breakbeat thrown in for good measure.

Both mixes deliver the funk and are capable of igniting a dance floor. Get your feet and asses ready, Sunshine is here!

 Wolf + Lambs' San Fran trio Pillowtalk join the W+L Black edits crew, serving up tastefully housed-up reworks of soul gems. First up they get the scissors out on Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell's late 60s soul anthem "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing", turning it into an extended, chugging disco-soul bomb. Next up is Bobby Hebb's version of the classic "Sunny", this time with the simplest of house beats added, making this an essential for Marcy Hotel nights. Lastly the Festivals' super-slow soul smoocher "You've Got The Makings Of A Lover" gets seriously pepped-up, with BPMs pushed towards peak-time dancefloor action.

Premiere: KUSP - Resistance [We Are The Brave]

Prospekt, Respekt's new talent incubator, is back for its sixth instalment with another trio of trailblazers.
First up are Belgian two-piece Bolster, who deliver a deserving lead track in 'Esoteric'. A masterful blend of crisp drums, aggressive synths and delicate choirs is a recipe for success in our book. 'Acid Waves' does exactly what it says on the tin, with a more direct, but no less effective approach.
Next up is a brace of bangers from Bruno Aguirre, with 'Someone Got Inside' and 'Mental Encounters'. 
Closing things out are another duo, this time hailing from Liverpool: Kusp. Presenting three different, but equally ballsy sides of their emerging style.

Back once again with the ill behaviour, Lord Leopard, the ‘chosen one’, who opened up Edible’s campaign back in 2015, returns to the fold for the label’s quarter century release mark (that’s our 25th release if you’re confused).  Eats Everything’s power-house of house has racked up bombs from Waze & Odyssey, Seb Zito, Alex Virgo, Ben Sterling and Méle, to name but a few, and strides into 2020 with more underground goodies for your lug holes and tootsies.

Futuristic disco pumpers can be heard on the ‘Disco Rage’ EP, as the mighty Lord Leopard literally swings from the mirror-ball with his kecks down; ‘Malibu Stacey’ comes correct with a heady brew of funk laden basslines, orchestral stabs, ascending strings, and hammering beats, whilst ‘Drang’ slaps you around the chops with tuff drums and sweaty basement sounds for some real deal, crunchy French licked house.

Lord Leopard has been busy of late, with releases and remixes for Street Tracks, Classic Music Company, Music For Freaks and Cajual, as well as smashing it at multiple Edible and elrow events.
