The talented US based producer Miles Ellis debuts on Sense Traxx, with the start of a handful releases. His tracks feature a hybrid element of live production and creativity, which are then finished off in a DAW to apply the finishing touches.

His productions definitely have that raw feel, and are screaming to be played out in a large warehouse setting. Keep you ears and eyes out for this talented young producer throughout 2021 as there is more to come from him on Sense Traxx!

So here it is! After a long time cooking in the lab, the debut release from London based Sense Traxx.
The lead record sees yet another debut, London duo Manilla deliver a pulsating acid kissed peak time roller. Janet, a driving stomper, packed with energy, edgy yet beautifully crafted. Perfect for those sweaty peak time sets. 
The first remix is from Detroit based Dantiez Saunderson, carrying a famous last name but forging his own path in the music business. This time he’s put together a deep, groovy club ready cut of Janet. Percussive, with a pulsing, gritty bottom end & scintillating synth work in the breakdown, late night or going through the gears, you’ll want to grab this!
Lastly, Sense Traxx head honcho Simon Shaw has put his distinctive stamp on Janet with a superb late night rework. Again, thoughtful in his approach to the remix, this keeps the acid feel to the baseline but adds bang up to date, almost futuristic synth work, making this an atmospheric and exciting late night beast.

Manilla - Janet (Dantiez Saunderson Remix) (Clip)

For the second part of our journey into sound we have a super double A side from Tom Jay. Heavily influenced by the halcyon days of house, from the gorgeous sounds of Chicago to the warehouses of Manchester in the late 80’s. 

Body Move is a piano led peak-timer and with a hugely effective vocal hook this is guaranteed to get some arms up! Remix treatment on this one comes from breakthrough artist, Jhonsson. With successful releases on 'Knee Deep in Sound' and more recently, 'Madtech Records', he joins the Sense Traxx family with a much tougher cut of Body Move. One for the heads, the bassline is addictive and as ever with Jhonsson, contains superb synth work completed with housey stabs. 

Chicago Love, is proof of Tom’s love for the origins of house. A bumpy interpretation of the classics we all know and love, superb chord stabs and nicely placed vocal ad-libs give Chicago Love a happy, summer vibe! Italian duo Mattei & Omich deliver a remix for the funk purists. Using the vocal as the lead, they’ve taken the best of early house and disco to create a insanely feel good, sun-kissed cut.

Julyan Dubson, a promising talent hailing from Mannheim, Germany is welcomed with open arms into the Sense Traxx stable and he's hit us with a lovely 2 tracker on his debut.

The first is a wonderfully chunky deep disco cut, slap bass heavy, great vocal hooks and that all important piano riff. As we sizzle (or swim) through the summer months, be sure to keep this in the bag to set the mood by the pool or on the rooftop.

Versatile and talented, Julyan has also furnished us with a dancefloor ready dub of 'Make A Thing'. This time bringing the rhythm to the fore of the record, big drums and a lush pulsing bassline will keep even the most hardened veteran interested! The track is garnished with nicely worked stabs and a sprinkling of vocals to taste, warm up or late night, the choice is yours.

After a storming success with Julyan Dubson’s debut single ‘Make A Thing’ getting to number 1 on Traxsource, we are back with Southampton duo South Royston delivering a superb club focussed double A! 
Firstly ‘Work It Out’, the first track on this EP is a bouncy floor filler, with excellent choppy vocals and a thundering bassline! Relentless in the build ups you’ll not struggle to whip up an excitable crowd with this! 
The flip side of this is ‘Do It Like That’ - one for the heads, rolling bassline, heavy kicks and those all important stabs. A big ol’ diva scream and hey presto, we have a winner! A bit more late night this, when the red stripe has turned into double vodkas. Some lush synth work to match the hazey mood of this one.
The cherry on the bakewell is Italian Duo and rising stars the Di Chiara Brothers! They have remixed ‘Work It Out’ to great effect!! SQUELCH’a the bass with this one, jackin’ as you like with their signature percussion style, great hat shuffle and wonderful kicks. A delight to any DJ for their long sets!
Finally, Label Boss Simon Shaw gives us his take on ’Do It Like That’, as ever with Simons records, theres the progressive feel with the synth work however, this differs from the norm with the pulsating acidic bottom end twisting and turning its way though the track. This one mixes The Hacienda with Gashouder, check it!

This is our biggest EP to date. We welcome none other than house music royalty Todd Terry to the label on this monster EP Head Honcho Simon Shaw gives us Cut My Hair. Why it's called that? Nobody knows, answers on a postcard please! 

Let's get into it then. 

Cut my hair is a real chugger! Large, weighty kicks give you an immediate idea where this is heading. There's organ kits, bluesy vocals and a big pulsing b-line to keep you movin'! 

We have one of our newest additions to the Sense Traxx camp, PEZNT. Straight in with the energy, this is upfront, floor focussed house music ladies and gentlemen! An absolute corker, killer bassline and stabs. Late night or early morning, whatever! 

House royalty Todd Terry has given this a glorious real OG housey flavour! Chopping those vocals with precision, giving us a low slung groove and nice throbbing bassline action, you in? Course you are. 

Last but by no means least we welcome distinguished label mate Kalyde back to Sense Traxx with his take on Cut My Hair. Punchy snares & claps AND a 303 you say? Electronic gorgeousness this. Must have for those lively warm ups and late 12 o'clock grooves!

Let's take it back to the 90's. radio burbling to the sound of the London Pirates, the smell of skunk coming out of the flats, cans of stella. then come evening it was all to the Colosseum, Moschino and Burberry, champagne bubblin'. 

This Garage sound has been bubbling away in the underground for a few years with loads of old stuff resurfacing and lots of cool new stuff starting to come through. 

May we present to you, Martin Alix and his debut EP, Just Talkin'

The lead is by the same name. a barnstormer of a record.. giving you that 90's groovy feel. think Banana Republic / 24 Hour Experience and you're nearly there! This is a superb bumpy cut. one for the heads! Pads, bassline and one hell of a groove! Get it up ya! 

Then we move forward with a remix from Bristolian Dr Shemp. His deeper dubby cut of Just Talkin' is warm up / afters material. slammin kicks yet atmospheric, driving yet has a deeper groovy feel. It's versatile and gorgeous. We would recommend 7am. 

Rounding off the EP is a rerub from The Checkup- a Kerri Chandler infused houser, taking it slightly stateside! Again very atmospheric and spaced out but a killer organ line makes everything soulful! A lovely record! Hats to die for. This will worm your way into the bag and never leave!

Martin Alix - Just Talkin' (The Checkup Remix - Edit)

Deep, Groovy and atmospheric three words that can be used to describe Tom Bugs debut release on Sense Traxx. The Croatian producer brings his signature vocal vibe with the help of IDA FLO on 'Upside Down'; swelling pads and rumbling bass stabs provide the backdrop for the floating vocal lead. This track is the perfect accompaniment for those sunset gigs on the terrace. 

On the Flip side of this track is a bumpy remix from Ruff Stuff. A jackin' drum line accompanied classic acid bass gives this cut a completely different flavour to that of the original. This is definitely a party starter and one to pull people on the floor. 

Rounding of the EP we well a true legend onto Sense Traxx. Richard Earnshaw is one of the most prolific producers in the House scene working with many of the most respectable labels in the scene alongside running is own imprint 'Duffnote Recordings' it's a pleasure to welcome him to the label and to have him deliver a tasteful remix of Tom Bug's single, keeping it deep, but with fresh drums and a slight variation to the original production.

Sense Traxx founder Simon Shaw returns to the label this July with the 'Music & Rhythm' EP, comprising three
originals from the UK artist.

The UK's Simon Shaw has been steadily establishing himself in the global house scene over the past few years,
initially making his mark with a series of events in the UK as Sense Traxx before going on to launch the label
and further developing his own and the labels classic meets contemporary house sound.

Opening the release is 'Yeaaahhhh!', a bumpy house cut fuelled by swinging snares, organic percussion and
choppy stab hits while soaring vocal swells, tension building pad sweeps and plucked synths ebb and flow
within. 'Jazz Flute' follows and as the name would suggest embraces a jazzy aesthetic courtesy of wind
melodies, atmospheric vocal recordings and soft Rhodes chords whilst stirring in a classic swung drum groove
and further house tropes in the form of square wave bass and gritty stabs.

Title-cut 'Music & Rhythm' then closes the package with a more groove-driven feel, laid out over seven minutes
with a robust rhythm, chopped vocal hit,s vacillating chord sequences and bright strings all subtly blooming
throughout.

Nelson steps up for his debut release on Deeper Traxx. He first released with sister label Sense Traxx in 2018 but returns to the fold with a deeper, darker edge about him. This EP shows a very different side to his productions and a shift in the direction of his music. 

'Cluster' opens up the collection of tracks. Punchy drums and sub bass take point, pushing into your chest as the track progresses. A floating breakdown sits in the middle of the track, building a crescendo of ambience before the familiar kick drum and subs resume. An all round roller, cluster is something fresh and new. 

Paawl then takes the driving seat for a remix of 'Cluster' harnessing the ambient synths from the original and putting his own spin on the overall track. Adding some signature punch and drive to the drum production, you get a different feeling and vibe from this one. 

'Expand' shows the lighter side of this EP with a rhythmic, bouncing stab taking the forefront.  This is perfect for the daytime open air or stripped back sets.

We welcome back to the label Dirty Secretz. After remixing for us earlier on in the year; he returns with some Deep, Garage House flavour. Tribute EP is three raw cuts. Think dark and sweaty London club in the mid nineties; Moschino and Avrex clad dancers as far as the eye can see 'Tribute'. 

'Tribute' kicks off this EP with a bang. A thumping slice of Garage and a perfect start to the EP, it's everything you could want and more from a track. Piano, jumping bass, harmonised gang vocals and a bubbling top line. 

'Throwback' comes up the middle with a killer piano house riff, skipping drums and heavy bass. This truly is a homage to everything that has come before it in the Garage House scene. 

'Lockdown' finally finishes us off and it does what it says on the tin. Deep, dark and dangerous is the vibe of this track. A massive vocal hook is the centre point, supported by that classic garage organ that we all know and love so much.
