About this journey:
In the past 1.5 years, time passes differently than before. Slower and faster at the same time. No one was really prepared for this form of a global pandemic, a global crisis. It’s a long and tough wait, sometimes hoping and fearing. Existences are threatened directly or indirectly. For me, it also shows how little capacity the global North has in dealing with existential crises. Norms and moral boundaries are shifting, revealing all their ambiguity and hypocrisy. Many people in the global South are still waiting for vaccines, and here millions are not getting vaccinated out of irrational fears and assumptions. Terms like dictatorship are grossly distorted. Freedom is demanded, but it means selfishness, lack of empathy, bossiness and malice. There’s a loud and aggressive, hyperpivileged minority that screams the loudest. But people die in silence. A simple and frightening logic.  It is a matter of time. It is about patience. It's about courage. About renunciation. About each and every one. What exactly music and art can achieve in this disturbing time, we all define.

We understand a set as a journey into the unknown. To enjoy this journey you need time, that is why we came to the conclusion of only doing extended sets of at least 3h from now on. This year I will play fewer times, but longer, and if they are all like one of the last sets I played in 2021, we will all enjoy it very much. More than 6 hours, starting at 10:30 AM, after an early morning of Meditation and Yoga in Barbarenas, an eco paradise in southern Mexico. Many things happened this day, you can hear it for yourself. Eve Lyn's main focus was always music. Music is her life. She plays the piano, sings in a Bulgarian choir and teaches music. Also as a yoga teacher her main focus is on music and chanting mantras with various kirtan bands. About 20 years ago she was asked to DJ at the first Christmas-market at Dachkantine in Zurich. Eve Lyn is really passionate in bringing people together on the dance floor and after years of playing techno oriented music, she is now exploring different downtempo genres.

Daniel Aparicio's music is transformative and danceable meditating, under the alias 'DVNIEL' the Mexican DJ, Plurpura Records member and producer reflects his internal sonic world into playful, powerful fusions providing the listening experience, filled up with experimental compasses and warm dreamy textures that walk purposefully into electronic music’s boardwalk.

This 220th edition is (literally) an odissey, on a visceral level, through a 208min session  in his studio DVNIEL in a startling precision of thought and sound conceived a selection surrounded by a a sense of stillness and gravity. We start on the floor crawling like babies, then leisurely the dance come to our hearts and we have to be sure to break with the beat, programs, patterns, ideas and everything that keep us in de 4x4 monotony before waking up from this dream.
